It’s on Google maps but it’s gone now! It hasn’t been there for a couple of years. How many more words do you want ?

Glorious weather and a glorious day out.
Oct 2018 • Family
We visited Jurassic Kingdom in Nottingham with my 6 week old baby and 2 year old nephew. We had the most fantastic day! My 2 year old nephew was in his element. He couldn't contain his excitement as he charged about spotting all the dinosaurs. They were fantastic! Very realistic. I loved the added details such as the eyes blinking and the hands moving. The sound effects were superb too. Very loud and scary! And the huge T-Rex outside Wollaton Hall was stunning. There was a good choice of food vans, however we opted to take a picnic to save a bit of extra money which was fine as there were plenty of spots to stop and eat. For what we paid we had a thoroughly enjoyable day out.

Wollaton Park Venue - dinotastic!

After reading the reviews we were a bit hesitant about visiting.

However we all enjoyed it.
Highlights for me (and worth the entry fee alone) were the Brachiosaurus, Diplodocus and of course the T-rex standing proud near the hall.

It didn't take us long to get around (less than 90 mins), even though our tickets were for all day entry - thought we'd be there longer. So for that sort of time it was perhaps a bit pricey.
That said it still worked out at around £1.25 per dinosaur for four of us!

Was very little in the way of damage - just the odd missing tooth and a bit of minor wear and tear which is to expected.

I did think there should have been some staff presence within the display area and not just at the entrance, just to discourage eager children (should there be any).

Overall an enjoyable and unique visit.

ROAR!

AVOID! COMPLETE RIP OFF!!
Nov 2018 • Family
To Other Parents - AVOID!! When I went onto the booking site, it says the exhibit is open until 6pm and tickets were being sold for entry at 5pm. I booked my tickets for 4pm. Assuming that there would lights on the dinosaurs and footpaths. However, there was no lighting, by quarter to 5pm, we battled to find our way back to the entry / exit point, having missed more than half the dinosaurs. When we arrived back at the exhibition entrance at 5:20, everything was shut, there was no way to purchase food or drinks. Then my 7 year old and her toddler friend, just wanted to take a photo of them "being eaten by a dinosaur" but the event workers turned all the lights off on us! On two little girls! And this was 35 minutes BEFORE the event closed. On top of all of this, the dinosaurs were in dreadful condition - they had missing teeth, scales were broken, paint was badly chipped. Many were in disrepair. The larger dinosaurs we badly glued together, and they made no effort with the noises - one dinosaur makes elephant noises!! I do not think this event was worth the money I paid. At £12.99 an adult, it was disgusting, and a complete rip off! Also that the online booking fee APPLIES TO EVERY TICKET make online tickets the SAME price as buying at the doors shows that this is just a scam!

Absolutely abysmal
Oct 2018 • Family
This was total rubbish , the models were all very shabby and damaged , the staff were grumpy and not helpful and it was ridiculously overpriced.
This is literally some pretty old dinosaur models which move ‘a bit’ every 30 seconds - this may have been quite good in about 1975 but this is plainly a cynical and rather poor attempt at an ‘end of pier’ rip off. Save your money and do not go ! Nottingham City Council should really have checked the standard of this attraction before booking it for Wollaton Hall.

Not many models and we got round in less than an hour. Some descriptions did not match the models and there was very little information. However there were plenty of food stalls and a memorabilia stall willing to take your money. Perhaps they could have had some guides to talk to paying customers about the dinosaurs. The tickets were £11 and a scandalous £1.50 booking fee. I was very disappointed.

Lovely setting and son (4yo) enjoyed it
Oct 2018 • Family
Had a really nice day out at Wollaton Park today to see the dinosaurs. My Dino mad son loved the dinosaurs and ran from one to the other really quickly. The setting at Wollaton Park was a massive plus as the grounds are so beautiful and there was a large herd of deer nearby.
I only gave it 3 stars as I agree with the other reviewers that it’s a lot of money for what it is (we were done in an hour and 10 mins) and some of the dinosaurs aren’t in the best condition (eye missing, holes in) but it did for us.
TIP - don’t buy from the gift shop which is part of the exhibit, buy from the gift shop in Wollaton Hall as it has the same stuff for half the price

Waste of money
Jul 2018 • Family
£38 For 2 adults and 1 child really overpriced. like most other reviews have said some missing teeth damaged dinosaurs and paying extra for the shoddy rides. No staff on hand to give any information about the dinosaurs.and the food stalls the slush machine had about 20 wasps/flys buzzing around inside it not the most hygienic. It took a maximum of an hour a hour to walk around the complete exhibit. Save your money and visit dan-yr-ogof instead.

I’ve never left a review before but felt I had to for this one. It is truly awful. £38 for two adults and a child. We were there at best an hour. My six year old was completely underwhelmed. The dinosaurs are damaged and information missing. There’s a discovery tent which shows a dated BBC documentary and is so filthy it has mud on the ceiling. You have to pay extra for “rides” which include a terrible mechanical dinosaur and VR in another filthy tent for £5. It’s so bad it’s actually funny. Please, please, please don’t waste your money.

Went to this when it was in Sheffield..... Save your time and money. It's not worth the trip. Do something else with your time. That's an hour of my life I won't get back!
