Established in 1717, the gardens with their mature trees benefit from the way that the grass undulates, giving it contours which other gardens in London squares don't have. There is a statue of Lord George Bentick on the south side, a plinth of an equestrian...More

I came across this place by accident today when walking to Paddington with some time to while away. A relaxing spot to take some time out from all the surrounding hubbub.

We sat in the square for a break from shopping . It's lovely to be able to sit in this little oasis for a break . We people watched and drank out water before leaving to carry on shopping nearby.

I think my title says it all. Located at the rear of the John Lewis Oxford Street store, you can grab a coffee or snack from the basement Waitrose and chill out for a while.

Marylebone offers what so many London neighborhoods
cannot: a village feel coupled with urban convenience.
Much of its success rests in its location. Wedged
between the northeastern corner of Hyde Park and the
southern end of Regent's Park and with a number of
Tube stations within easy reach, Marylebone is as
pedestrian friendly as Central London gets. The
bustling shopping mecca of Oxford Street separates it
