Unlike its Stratford branch, the original Westfield has a special wing, The Village, devoted to 30+ luxury brands like Louis Vuitton and Prada, plus the usual mall staples, restaurants, and a cinema.

- Indigo-1974Wellingborough, United Kingdom40 contributionsVisited the centre on a Monday in July, it was still quite busy so I’d imagine on a weekend it would be really crowded. It really is a massive place so wear comfy shoes as you’ll be doing a lot of walking! Bad points: some of the roof is glass & it felt really hot in there with the sun beating down. We did visit on a very hot day & it’s a big place to keep cool with A/C, so in warm weather dress appropriately. It felt uncomfortably hot. Also, I felt that there wasn’t anywhere near enough seating. I know it’s probably designed like that: if you’re sitting down you’re not shopping & spending money, but a few seats for you to take a quick breather would be very welcome. Good points: for a place so big & busy it was very very clean. I saw barely any litter & there are plenty of bins around. Hats off to the staff who obviously work hard to keep the place looking clean & tidy. Also, I didn’t have to queue once for the toilets. There are plenty of them, they’re well signposted, & again, very clean. Finally, I thought the parking charge was very reasonable for London - £8.50 for up to 10 hours is great value in my opinion.Visited July 2024Traveled with familyWritten July 29, 2024
- thezine71London, United Kingdom51 contributionsOn Maundy Thursday I was part of the energetic queue awaiting the opening of the first day of @TheBeautyEdit at Westfield, West London. The importance of this event focused on making beauty products and services accessible for mass participation. The appeal of the event remains inherently problematic to having a time with like minded spirits whose passion is to look and feel great. Through the mediums of perfume workshops, getting nails done and treating one's self to products bequeathed by @Elemis and #Mac made the day bask in natural radiance. #Yougi is a range focusing on the personalised perfume creation. Something made by hand always feels like it belongs to you. The use of pipettes to squeeze a mixture of aromas to the bottles seemed to be therapeutic remedy to start the Easter weekend immersed. The scents produced opened the pathway to thinking more holistically about #selfcare and making the most out of life. @mets_nails was amazing at curating new nails designs. Her kind nature made doing nails in the middle of a luxurious shopping centre feel less daunting.Visited March 2024Traveled with friendsWritten April 30, 2024
- Basit SayedBusserach, Switzerland17 contributionsIt was very attractive from the outside. From the inside it looked very nice and clean. The toilets here were clean, too. You could see everything about this shopping center. What bothers me are the opening hours of the shops, which are only allowed to open at 10 am and on Sunday at 12 pm. - Nerissa GoldenMontserrat382 contributionsHaving two sold out concerts happening in the day of our visit meant the mall was busier than usual. However, there's lots to see and do. The mall itself is an experience and within it lots of other things to see and sample, along with great shopping.Visited June 2024Traveled with familyWritten June 24, 2024

- Louis CecileLondon, United Kingdom622 contributionsLocated ten minutes from Shepherds Bush Station. This shopping centre attracts a young crowd. Before entering there is a row of restaurants. The inside is very busy on weekends. It has two floors with most shops that tend to be overcrowded. There are busy seating areas. Many shops are empty and the staff inside look sad. Unless you are looking for something specific you can window shop in thirty minutes. It has the feel of an attraction that has lost its shine and certainly needs to be reimagined.Visited September 2024Traveled as a coupleWritten September 29, 2024
- whereiswall-e87 contributionsSome great shops and fun for teens and tweens. Struggled to find any cash points - there were none at all on level 1 and had to search high and low on level 0. Tasty lunch at Pizza Express on level 3. Absolutely nowhere to sit other than in cafes - a few benches would be really helpful, particularly for weary parental legs!Visited August 2024Traveled with familyWritten August 27, 2024
- BoardingPass788726Northwood, United Kingdom15 contributionsComing into the car parks the signage is useless. I ended up going back out up a back road and round again to get in. Terribly bad for such a big place. Leaving was just as bad. You'd think they could do a lot better. Likewise in the centre the location guide boards are not really much use. Not sure I'd be in a hurry to return. However the selection of shopping is fantastic..Visited December 2024Traveled as a coupleWritten December 18, 2024

- KavehBournemouth, United Kingdom570 contributionsI visited the Westfield London shopping center in June 2024, and it was an impressive experience. The mall is vast and offers a wide variety of stores, catering to all tastes and budgets. From high-end luxury brands to popular high street shops, there's something for everyone. The layout is modern and spacious, making it easy to navigate even during busy times. The food court offers diverse dining options, ranging from quick bites to sit-down meals. I was particularly impressed with the cleanliness and the overall ambiance. The staff in various stores were helpful and friendly, enhancing the shopping experience. We got Vietnamese and Chinese food. Parking was convenient, and public transport links were excellent. I got there by London Taxi. Overall, Westfield London is a fantastic shopping destination that combines convenience, variety, and a pleasant atmosphere. Highly recommended for both locals and tourists!Visited June 2024Traveled as a coupleWritten July 17, 2024

I visited River Island at Westfield on Monday, 10/03/25, around 12 PM with my wife. While waiting to pay, there was only one customer at the counter ahead of us. Shortly after, another staff member called us forward to pay. My wife approached, but another employee( black girl), without properly assessing the situation, abruptly told her that the queue was on the other side and instructed her to stand in line.
What was even more frustrating was that another customer who arrived after us was also waiting to pay, yet this staff member did not seem aware of the surroundings and unnecessarily started arguing. She even argued with her own colleague and spoke to us in an extremely rude and unprofessional manner.
As someone who has worked as a manager at Hotels in central London for 11 years, I strongly believe that excellent customer service is crucial in a premium shopping destination like Westfield. This particular staff member lacked the necessary skills, professionalism, and customer awareness, making her a poor representation of the store. Frankly, it is a waste of investment to have such employees in a high-end retail space.
I strongly request that this incident be investigated further, as it reflects poorly on the brand and diminishes the shopping experience. I hope management takes appropriate action to ensure better service standards in the future.
Would appreciate a response regarding this matter.

We had made a reservation and paid a deposit for a Saturday evening, there were 9 of us (aged 17-50). There were empty tables and appeared to be plenty of staff. After 25 minutes no one had appeared to take our order, we really wanted drinks while we looked at the menu so one of our party left the table to search for waiting staff. The drinks order was taken along with our food order at the same time. Nothing and no one had appeared after 50 minutes so again we went in search of our drinks to be told they had no glasses!! (That’s because they don’t clear the tables often enough, dirty plates and glasses on various tables around us, our starters plates were still on our table when they brought the mains over!) We spoke to a member of staff who got the manager, he listened without commenting (not even an apology) and the rest of the evening they over compensated with staff checking in on the table regularly, they’d obviously been spoken to. The food WAS nice and came with all the ‘tweeks’ we had asked for that come with fussy eaters however our experience had already been ruined. Our bill arrived without us even being asked if we had wanted any puddings it was almost 11pm by then and our table was booked for 8.30.

There are two Westfield shopping centres in London located in Stratford in the East and Shepherd's Bush in the West.
The Westfield in the West has good transport links. There are plenty of buses serving the local area heading for Shepherd's Bush and most of them stop in Wood Lane or outside Shepherd's Bush tube station.
There are also good tube links. Shepherd's Bush is served by London Overground with trains running from Clapham Junction to Willesden Junction, Camden Road, Highbury & Islington and Stratford. It is also served by the Central line with trains running from Ealing Broadway and Ruislip to West End, Stratford, Hainault and Epping. White City on the other side of the centre is also served by the Central Line. Wood Lane is also near White City station and this is served by the Circle and Hammersmith & City lines. The Circle line trains run from Hammersmith towards Paddington, Liverpool Street and then back to Blackfriars, South Kensington and back to Edgware Road. Hammersmith and City line trains run to Barking.
The shopping centre is quite grand and there are some very fancy shops there selling exclusive luxury items like Tesla. There are also stores for people who are on a more limited budget like Boots, WH Smith and Primark.
There are touch screens dotted around to help you find places and there are toilets in various locations. There is a food court in the centre of the shoppingg area where you can sit and eat from the various different food outlets in the centre.
It's nice to have a wander around even if you can't afford to buy things from the stores.

Zara Westfield: horrible staff, profiling people, and I’ll never shop there again:
We’re a family of five and after sieving through the poor children’s / teens (girl’s) selection found some items. Fairly priced. Made to pay at the non functional, difficult to access, malfunctioning self service point - with unhelpful staff roaming about. Didn’t see any till option. Got our receipts sent by text and were leaving. The door alarm ‘was triggered’ bags checked, receipts checked and no issues. Door man tried to explain B….S… on why alarm went off, which we weren’t interested in because it felt like someone clearly profiled us and triggered the alarm. Funny enough we could afford a whole lot lot lot more that we had bought. That’s not a tactic to secure your shop, look for more experienced security staff to do the job - otherwise you chase customers away. We’ll never return….up to you, what you do!

Extremely rude female manager (didn't take a note of her name brown long hair tied back ) working in Zara ground floor around 4/4.30pm Sunday 5th Feb west field white city. In a very rude manner told me to "move away from the till area" how it is "for staff only" when I wasn't even behind the till I was standing on the side as I was told by a staff member to do so , why would I be standing behind the till? Bizarre.
A security tag was left on my jacket by Zara Bond Street and it was more convenient for me to go Westfield rather than back to bond Street... I did not plan to go anywhere that day but had to go to remove the tag that a staff in Zara left. I was asked by her in a quite hostile way "did you not hear the alarm go off?"
A. it is not my job to listen to alarms as I leave a busy west end store on a Saturday when there is a security to hear it
b.obviously I did not hear it otherwise why would I be sacrificing my Sunday with a toddler and baby to get this tag taken off.
She took it off after looking at the receipt and said it's not really usual for them to do it how I should have gone to West end store as they need to check CCTV. I said I have the receipt it was purchased only a day before. She said yes but still.
So I bought a £109 jacket where a staff was clearly incompetent left a tag on the jacket made me run around on a Sunday to get it taken off to be given so much attitude by the store manager?! How do these people get these level jobs ? Horrible experience dealing with issues they created.

It takes an hour to park at this place, plus you get tickets for driving into the bus garage by accident and driving in and out of a full car park without paying. Go to Brent Cross instead as you can be parked within 5 minutes of arrival without ridiculous tickets. Never again will I visit.

The Original Westfield is one of the best shopping centres I’ve ever been to with it’s large variety of shops to suit all budgets, mixtures of cuisines available at the food court and it’s cleanliness and vibrant decor.
I always attempt to make a stop at this Westfield when visiting London as there is such a wide variety of shops ranging from clothing stores to toy shops to technology hubs. One aspect which I adore is that they have stores in all these categories which will suit each and every budget; whether you’re a low budget mum like myself or a splurging brand lover looking for the latest items off the runway! For families with children, I highly recommend visiting the new Hamley’s which has opened; it’s a miniature version of the original but it has just as much fun including a built in slide… just prepare for dragging your child out! Haha!
Food wise, you will be spoiled for choice as there is so much to choose from in the centre! Choices range from traditional fish and chips to bao buns to burgers and so on… honestly, you’ll be spoiled for choice. Best of all is everyone can by from different vendors and eat at the same table meaning everyone can be catered for. There is also the newly opened McDonalds too if you want a cheaper option too not to mention the chance to pick up a snack around the centre from vendors including a delicious pretzel! You won’t leave hungry, that’s for sure.
The only negative I have is parking - if you are visiting on the weekend or holidays, expect parking to be more difficult as families tend to venture here for something to do.
Otherwise, one of the best shopping centres!

overpriced and very small portion. a Traditional daal is so little amount not even one adult male is enough. the staff are not friendly and the Chola bhatura is not a puri its soaking in oil very unhealthy. I asked if I could have just a small portion of rice instead or one puri instead of 2 bhatura - she said they would charge £2 more. very disappointed. I gave 2 points because daal was decent taste

I’ve never really been one for shopping unless there’s food or beer involved so a visit here on a busy Saturday evening was my ultimate nightmare. Only redeeming point was the really nice steak place we ended up eating in. That was after sitting down to eat at a burger place in which we were unable to connect to their menu/ordering app and being ignored by the server so we walked out! Won’t be rushing back to this awful place!

Visited in Oct 2021 with pre-booked tickets to go to the Chocolate Factory. Arrived to find the Chocolate Factory was closed and no information anywhere to explain why. The picture shows other families checking why they couldn't get in either.
Westfield staff and duty manager blamed it on the concession and were utterly unhelpful, denying all liability. They were only concerned in not admitting any blame for allowing a scam to be run under their roof and offered no assurance that they would take our complaints further or stop advertising a concession that was charging for advance tickets with no service to offer.
Once it was clear the Westfield staff weren’t interested in helping resolve the situation I didn’t bother staying any longer.

Caffe Nero is great too! Right near the Underground, Overground and Bus Stations. Actually, if you're travelling via public transport, Westfield has a whole row of cafes, restaurants and drink places that you can access upon exiting or alighting from these services.
