I recently went to Westfield with my friends.
Due to being situated in London, obviously, parking price can be a bit expensive.
I would recommend going during the weekday, as during the weekend (I went on a Sunday) shops can be crowded and due to the new covid protocols, there can be queues.
The food is nice, although if you are visiting at peak times during the weekend, there is a bit of a wait! I would recommend the IndiGo restaurant. The chips was lovely.
Due to the effects of covid, some shops have closed, but I expect in a few months time there will be more shops to offer. There is still so much choice: from bookshops to clothes shops, you will be covered!

I should have done a review for this place years ago as its my nearest mega mall. It has all the High St chains and more. Plenty of eating places and entertainment. Particularly like the sweet treats concession stands. Ideal place for people watching as you see people from all over the world and different nationalities, and if you don't want to spend money you can window shop and dream. Parking is a bit expensive in their car park. It's handy to know the back roads and times of unrestricted parking. Be prepared to walk 10-15 mins, or just park in their own car park. Charges starting at £6.50 for 2 hours

This is a huge and upmarket shopping mall to the west of Central London, in suburban Shepherd’s Bush. I’ve not visited previously, and was pleasantly surprised by its vastness, spaciousness, and airiness. Initially it seemed a bit labyrinthian, with stores along many different shopping avenues, but once you get your bearings it’s relatively easy to navigate and find your way around. There are hundreds of stores here, anchored by three department stores - John Lewis, Marks and Spencer, and House of Fraser. All the high street names are here, as well as all the high end designer stores in a section called ‘The Village’.
The complex is very light, thanks to open floors and the creative interplay of triangular glass panels on the expansive roof. The walkways are wide so there are no obstructions for those using mechanical mobility assistance. It has a contemporary and modern feel.
I noticed a couple of things that could see some improvement. Whilst there's plenty of food outlets and tables and seating for food consumption, there’s very few comfortable seating areas away from the food court and food outlets. Some sofas, benches, armchairs and the like throughout the wide avenues of shops would enhance the overall comfort of the mall. Add to these some outlets to charge your phone; you have to hire a charge bank, at cost, to do that. And improve the wifi; it was fairly diabolical.
There's not a lot of signage; you're expected to use the large digital screen to locate store; it's just a shame most were not working. There were adequate restroom facilities over the two floor, and they were clean.
Shepherd’s Bush is the closest underground station to the complex, and the directions to it are well-signed. The centre is open from 10.00 to 21.00 Monday to Saturday, and 12.00 to18.00 on Sunday. Its a reasonably pleasant shopping experience if you love shopping malls like this.

Visited in Oct 2021 with pre-booked tickets to go to the Chocolate Factory. Arrived to find the Chocolate Factory was closed and no information anywhere to explain why. The picture shows other families checking why they couldn't get in either.
Westfield staff and duty manager blamed it on the concession and were utterly unhelpful, denying all liability. They were only concerned in not admitting any blame for allowing a scam to be run under their roof and offered no assurance that they would take our complaints further or stop advertising a concession that was charging for advance tickets with no service to offer.
Once it was clear the Westfield staff weren’t interested in helping resolve the situation I didn’t bother staying any longer.

The car park is very expensive and feels like Westfield is more interested in profit than to help people enjoy their outing. 1 &1/2 hour cost me £8.50.
Even if you just want to visit one particular shop then leave, makes you not want to return there again.
Good luck Westfield, I will try to stick to my high street and not get robbed.
No wonder visitors are deterred from going to an over priced labyrinth sort of a place. High rents, puppets as security officers, and sad looking sales assistants wishing they were dead.

I very generously received a Westfield Gift Card for Christmas, which was purchased online. After numerous attempts trying to contact the relevant person, I eventually got through to someone at flex-e-cards who provide the card and was told that it wasn't possible to use the card online! As no shops are currently open for the next two months (or possibly more) and the shop wasn't open at the time of purchase, I think it's shocking that this was not make clear to the purchaser. If you buy a card online, you expect to be able to use it online. When I asked her what my options were, she said the only option is to get the amount refunded to the person who purchased it but they have to call and await a return call (basically, a very long winded route!)
I'm surprised and disappointed to hear that Westfield is so behind the times and has not adapted particularly considering the current limitations and requirements. I wanted to use the gift card towards a new washing machine from John Lewis as mine has broken in the middle of the national lockdown, but to no avail!
The customer service person was completely disinterested in my call and was unable to tell me which retailers would accept the card either. I'd therefore strongly advise anyone wishing to purchase a Westfield gift card to think otherwise.

We’ve visited Santa’s grotto on the 15th of December and we also took a picture with Santa. Unfortunately after couple of days our child was looking at the picture and she came to ask us why Santa was showing a bad sigh with his finger (the middle finger) on the right hand. This was supposed to remain a nice and enjoyable memory for our child and not something that we should have to find a explanation for Santa’s actions and find an excuse why he would show his middle finger in the picture. This is definitely unacceptable from someone that should plays this role and be proper trained when working with kids and a good example for the kids that should never act like this. At her age she is aware of things that adults are doing wrong and things that are not to follow in life.
I really hope to get a answer from them with a reason why something that was supposed to be a magical experience for her was transformed in a big question and discusión in a negative way for our child.
I’ve attached the picture so you can see what I mean. Also the whole experience it wasn’t something that I would recommend as the Elfs they weren’t to nice with the kids and they where talking within each other how tired and done with so many kids they were.

It’s a good place to visit for shopping with many retailers to choose from. Visited during December 2019 and the place was very busy at the Christmas period as you can expect, car parking was average pricing of approx £7 for a few hours of parking. It was a bit difficult to find the car parking via the Satnav. I like how spacious the place is with many storey floors and a variety range of retailers to go to from food to technology etc. The place also shuts late. Highly recommend

Went to the Chocolate Factory at Westfield, it was a total con. Paid £25 per adult to get into what was essentially 8 rubbish rooms for arrogant people to have selfies, and get less than £2 of sweets. Not impressed at all and now demanding my money back through the ticket seller as staff did not offer a refund when asked for one. This was a total con to get people's money and a disgrace.

My 11 yr old son Luka and I would like to thank a lovely security guard called Mark, that help us out today, when my son had a reaction (feeling sick and shaking) after consuming what we now suspect was dairy in what was meant to be a non-dairy drink he had consumed.
We were outside Westfield (nearest the train station entrance) getting some fresh air, Luka was in pain and feeling sick and Mark stopped to asked if everything was okay. He introduced himself and asked my son his name, as by way of comfort and if there was anything he could do to help.
As we had not been to Westfield before (visiting from East Sussex) he told us where the nearest and best rest rooms were and stood with us until Luka was ready to go to the restrooms. As we were leaving Luka said, "Thank you Mark" and Mark said " You take care of yourself Luka", it was a truly lovely moment.
So if anyone knows who Mark is, my son and I would like to say a big thank you for your kindness today. Luka & Luka's Mum.

Is the car park easy to drive a large SUV into? Just been to watford which has narrow concrete tunnels with sharp 90 degree corners, designed for a min 40 years ago, not going back there!

Can I park at Westfield White City, go shopping and then get the tune into central london for a few hours and then tun=be back to Westfield, get in the car and leave. Which is the best car park if using the Central Line?

The best car park is not in Westfield as the expenses are very high. I recommend not driving but if that’s impossible try and go on Sunday when it’s free and stay on any street around.

I’m looking for a coffee shop that has comfy sofas/armchairs for a two hour meet-up with an old school friend ? We’re both 70 and Westfield seems a good venue as its fairly close to QPR’s football ground for later? Cheers!

Caffe Nero is great too! Right near the Underground, Overground and Bus Stations. Actually, if you're travelling via public transport, Westfield has a whole row of cafes, restaurants and drink places that you can access upon exiting or alighting from these services.
