The bridge was worth a visit for the architecture and we had a nice walk along the river too. The sunny weather definitely helped.

I thoroughly enjoyed my weekly walks by the river from Acton to Putney bridge. Early Sunday morning or late evening. Amazing view & you disconnect completely as long as you walk on the right side of the river under the trees& listen to the birds...More

Great London bridge that was opened in 1887 and has a real Victorian feel about it. This 210 metre long suspension bridge is open to traffic and pedestrians.

Hammersmith Bridge was the first suspension bridge across the River Thames. It connects the southern part of Hammersmith to Barnes. The original bridge was not strong enough to support the volume of traffic across it and a new bridge was built in 1884. This current...More

Owing to its proximity to Smithfield Market – the site
of an ancient meat market which remains in operation
today – Clerkenwell boasts a plethora of globally
renowned restaurants, fabulous local eateries, and
some of London's favorite pubs. This isn't merely a
focal point for all things foodie though. Spend enough
time wondering through the area's maze of streets and
you might become accustomed to the litany of slinky
