Floatation as an activity is amazing. The facilities here are perfectly sufficient for that but the site is a disaster. No advice or warning about the appalling ongoing landlord/parking debacle and I’ve been left with a £165 pound fine. When I contacted them to request they get it revoked they said they had contacted their landlord but there was nothing they could do. Paltry apologies and nothing else. I contacted the landlords myself (Komodo Group, in the adjoining unit) and they were equally useless. Avoid at all costs and go to a Floatworks instead.

This an absolutely tranquil experience. Loved it from the beginning till the end! Very clean, cozy and modern float studio. Competent and friendly staff who thoroughly explained me about my float experience, benefits etc. Can't recomend them enough, just the best, will be back after my marathon for recovery!

Had a very bad experience in this centre. First of all, hygiene standards are extremely poor and I am not even sure how this place is allowed to operate. Floatation pods are located in the rooms that are poorly lit, damp and smelly. Showers are wet and are not cleaned after every customer (plenty of hair and dirt, I am sure plenty of germs too). Floor is wet (easy to catch fungus). Apparently, there are flip flops for the customers, which I was neither shown, nor told about before the session.
The floating pods are as per pictures, however, I found a few black hair in the water after which I decided to cut my session short. Bear in mind, if you decide to do so you will find yourself in a dark room, as no light is available (it is regulated from the reception and is turned on only before and after the session).
There were two constructions workers in the reception, which later moved to one of the treatment rooms and made quite a noise while painting the walls in there. The floating experience meant to be relaxing and spa-like, however, as many spas as I visited around the world, I have never witnessed such low hygiene standards. I personally was disgusted and would advise management to start not from painting the walls but from raising hygiene standards of the place.

Good Afternoon, We are very sorry to hear that you did not have a pleasant experience when you visited our centre. We would like to offer a full refund in case of this. We work very hard here to maintain a high level of sanitation and cleanliness, We have low lighting to keep a relaxing feel and avoid harsh bright lighting, we do clean the rooms before and after each use, the showers will be wet as they are cleaned between uses.

If I could give this place 0 stars I would.
I booked a package for a 1 hour floatation tank with a 1 hour Massage. Initially their website glitched and double charged me. I called up for a refund for one of the charges, which they processed ( a week later i'm still waiting). Then the male representative told me that the massage may not be possible as the masseuse is travelling and may have to isolate on return. He said that if he didn't call tomorrow to cancel then it would be fine to go ahead with the massage part too - I heard nothing back. Today I get a call ONE HOUR before my booking to tell me I cannot have the massage because the masseuse has to be away from work last minute... hmmm...The lady on the phone kept talking over me and trying to elude that it was my fault as the masseuse was never confirmed...but it was and i BOOKED it. You shouldn't allow for this to be a bookable package if you cannot provide it. She then suggested I do the 1 hour tank today and then the massage next week?!?!?! NO, So I asked for a refund and she said she would have to contact the manager, so I asked if the manager could call me, to which I was told she is off for another week or two as well!!! and that she would have to whatsapp her manager for my refund request.... I still haven't heard back and my booking was one hour ago now.....This has to be the most infuriating experience i've had in a long while. I am now owed £210 from this place and i've been told I need to wait for the manager to reply to a whatsapp in order for my refund to be processed....DO NOT BOOK HERE!!!

Had serious muscle damage after an operation and nothing else had worked.
The assistant on reception took the time to show me how everything worked and made sure that I was okay with everything before leaving me to it. It is a totally different experience being weightless and take a few minutes to get used to. It is a very quiet and peaceful experience and you really do feel better when you come out at the end. You can have the light on or not, the music plays for about 10 minutes to let you know it is working and then stops. It comes back on at the end to let you know the session is over. The facility is very clean, a decent shower, clean white towels (only £1) and very helpful staff :-) going back again very soon.

I decide to come and do a new experience so why not try the flotation experience. When I arrived I was greet with the reception. She let me go in half a hour early. I got in and I was spin around really quick but I told her what happen she let me have another hour. She was very friendly and helpful. I would definitely like to do this again and would remmend it to try if u feel stress.

Not worth the money. I was expecting a 5 star treatment considering the price, however the experience was far below expectations.
1) the music didn’t start until 30mins into the float so I spent the first half very confused, unable to relax and not sure if it had even started yet.
2) bring goggles - I wasn’t prepared for how much salt gets in your eyes all the time, I spent at least 10mins trying to clean my eyes and had to get out twice.
3) by the time the jets started at the end I was already out, there was no immmersion, no feeling of being switched off and escaping from the world, it was more anxiety about if it was working properly and how much time I actually had left and what would happen next.
4) there was no relaxing music in the waiting area, also mould on the walls in my floatation room.
5) they charged me extra for towels (£40 isn’t enough?) the towel I paid extra for was thin and rough.

Finally, while trying to book it felt like they deliberately made it difficult to get a appointment that wasn’t on a weekend, thus forcing me to pay an uplift and give the extra money. Everything I suggested was “full” then as soon as I said Saturday it was immediately available..for an extra £18.

My partner felt the same way about all of this, I was really looking forward to this but it turned out to be a massive disappointment.

What a FANTASTIC experience. Coming from Barnet it was a bit of a journey to say the least but once there, as soon as you arrive, you’re welcomed by a most lovely lady, sorry, her name escapes me, and offered a drink. She explains exactly what to expect and answers any questions you may have. We borrow towels at a charge of £1 and are led into an area where there are two rooms which home a “pod”, the floatation tub. She explains and demonstrates exactly what everything is and leaves you in private. The pod room is clean, as is the rest of the centre and once showered and in the pod, I had a whole hour of floating all my tension away in the warmth and buoyancy of Epsom Salts. Magical! You can just feel the tensions and stresses of everyday life leave your mind and body. Such a fabulous feeling. When finished, we literally floated back to reception after blow drying our hair and was asked about our experience. It’s recommended that perhaps 3 sessions within the first month would reap the most benefit and I wholly agree. I personally have arthritis in my hands and back and they really did feel so much easier even 24 hours later. I would highly recommend this to anyone who has stress in their lives and an hour to relax.

Frankly, I have mixed feelings. The concept of relaxation/de-stressing through floatation in a personal chamber is a sound concept. Ambient water temperature, the Epsom salts (that enable the floatation), the neck pillow on which my head rested, the gentle music, the quiet and privacy-- the confluence of these factors accounted for a most relaxing experience. Furthermore, the staff is welcoming and informative. They provided tips to optimise the floatation experience.
The website recommends that a user bring swimwear for the session, so before the session, I was surprised when told that users can go into the floatation chamber naked. I inquired the manner in which the chamber is cleaned, and a filtration system was explained to me. This sounded good. However, as pointed out by another reviewer, the grime on the interior walls of the floatation chamber is the source of my disappointment. Were it not for this lapse in hygiene practice, I would recommend this experience.

Hello! Thanks for the honest feedback. The "Grime" in the tank is only a cosmetic flaw that we are working on. Its not a hygiene issue at all. Things get a bit tricky chemically with salt, cleaning products and the material of the tank. We never compromise on the water treatment and quality. Cosmetics are a result of usage and soon that will be fixed too as it can cause a bit of confusion. Hope to see you again. Cheers
