Having seen this advertised a friend took us there. What a lovely church filled with Danishdelicacies. Tried traditional, open sandwiches. Great taste. Also bought several tin items translated by the helpful peopl in the church. Tried cheeses and some drinks. A great day out.

The Danish Church, officially St. Katharine’s Church, is facing Regent’s Park and with its two spires is a familiar landmark for many Danes in London. It should be worth a visit for many more who want to learn something about the Danes. To the right of the front is a full replica of the Jelling stone, a replica of a giant stone with runic inscription from Jelling at Jutland, but more important are all the activities taking place in and around the church. Visit between 12 and 3 (am) (closed Monday) and speak with some of the staff, which should give you some ideas worth taking into many other churches.
