Went on Sunday for the jingle bell ball, the o2 was all set with a Christmas feel, the Coca Cola truck was outside, there were little food stalls like a mini Christmas market. There was a good selection of restaurants, all fairly busy so a wait was due. There was an o2 stand with people giving out bags with chocolate,... More

I was involved the the Grime Live event and this was my first time attending anything at Indigo, as such I will write about it from an attendees view point. Arrival was easy, getting there well organized, and waiting for it to open is undercover and shielded from the worst of the elements, although not exactly warm as just under... More

Went see Simply Red, as always staff very good, venue good, food and drinks really over the top expensive , it just winds me up how anyone can charge £ 2.50 for a small bottle of water, but won't allow you to take your own into to venue ,

This concert was amazing. Jess Glynne was fabulous and her voice is so unique. Her backing singers and band were brilliant and their rhythm was so cool. The lighting and videos were so effective and the atmosphere was electric. There was an explosion of emotions and enjoyed by everyone of all ages. We loved the experience. Come back Jess xxx

Awful staff! Unfriendly staff and extremely unorganised. Cannot believe this is how they run their business.

We went to see Simply Red at the O2 Arena on Sunday evening. Lovely intimate arena suitable for watching your favorite group. Most seats give a very good view with the overall experience well worth the money.

The O2 is filled with different options for food, however despite all of the choice at busy times getting tables is near impossible. Seats in the arena are all pretty good and I would not hesitate to go again as I'm sure there isn't really a bad seat. They are comfortable and also have a drink holder which is good!... More

We enjoyed the exhibition and the staff were very friendly and helpful. I'd advise to buy tickets on line and turn up a little earlier than the time specified on the printed out ticket. The idea is you can create your Star Wars identity by answering questions along the route and then and listen to audio guides on an ear... More

Went to the Simply Red gig last night and it seems something is organisationally adrift at what in my view has been the best concert arena in the country. The recently installed airport style scanners are I'm afraid just a fact of modern life. It inevitably slows down the entrance process so you just have to allow a bit more... More

Staying in Greenwich

Neighborhood Profile
Greenwich
Greenwich Mean Time starts here, so to speak, as the very concept of global time was established at Royal Observatory, just one of several buildings of architectural interest in Greenwich. Indeed, the whole of Greenwich's historic town center, its Royal Park and a number of related buildings (and one world famous ship, the Cutty Sark) make up the UNESCO World Heritage site known as Maritime Greenwich. Today a laser beam is shot out across the night sky from the Observatory to mark the location of the Prime Meridian. Other bold (some say brash) 21st century additions to the area include landmarks such as The O2 entertainment complex (previously known as the Millennium Dome) and the Air Line cable cars, which offer scenic transport across the Thames between North Greenwich and the Royal Docks.
