The area
Address
Neighborhood: Westminster
If you only had an afternoon to experience London on a grand scale, Westminster would be a wise place to start. The ornate Houses of Parliament and Westminster Abbey sit adjacent at a corner of Parliament Square, and a short stroll along The Mall leads to Buckingham Palace. Trafalgar Square and Nelson's Column are just up the road as well. As captivating as the architecture is, the wonders of Mother Nature are highlights of the area too. St James's Park (arguably London's loveliest), the expansive Green Park, and pedestrian friendly tree lined paths along the river showcase the exquisite manicure provided by English gardeners. Just beyond the landmarks and the gorgeous outdoor spaces, quiet residential squares and age old local pubs offer a more subdued take on this global seat of power in the heart of London.

Went here in october for a conference (insurance innovators summit). Staff was friendly and helpfull and got us easy and fast thorugh check in.

Location just beside westminster Abbey made for a beautifull walk each morning from our hotel.

Enjoyable and i would go again if the right conference comes along.

Fairly small conference centre, great location

Set just off Parliament Aquare the QE II centre can often be missed. I attended the British Thoracic Society Winter meeting this wee at the conference centre and liked the fact that it is small and you can move around pretty easily, with exception of the lifts which are too small when large numbers of people need to move floors.

If you have food allergies avoid.
Jun 2019 • Business
Slow to check in, cloakroom que to long and staff slow.

Attend today for a conference. While signs about allergens had been put out nothing had signs to say what it was. Plus the choice for non gluten was shocking.

This was really poor in my view. My lunch was an apple.

When you plan a conference please avoid this place.

Plan your toilet visit 🤔
Jun 2019 • Business
Had my first visit to this conference venue, its location is great and you are surrounded by history, history and more history... but also tourists so if you look like you might know anything about London be prepared to act as a guide 🤔
Generally I couldn't fault the location, facilities and especially the people, but just one thing to consider when going there... plan toilet visits because when 750 delegates have a break the toilets are gender neutral and some of us take longer!

Good
Jan 2019 • Business
This conference centre is very well served by public transport and is in close proximity to tourist sites. I was there as a delegate recently and left with the impression that the centre is well organised and clean with masses of space. A special mention about Robin, a concierge, who greeted delegates warmly and for whom nothing was too much effort.

Day conference
May 2018 • Business
First of all, the centre is in a superb location, (as long as you are happy to rely on public transport) -definitely not a place to drive to and park.
Surrounded by some of the best sights in London, quite stunning.
Facilities were clean, and OK.....just a bit dated
The conference rooms and seating were quite typical, nothing specially good or bad.
Lunch was, again, ok.....no great imagination, but served the purpose.
All seemed well organised and structured, no major complaints

Moderate facilities, while the location is excellent. Very old set up, I am sure it has initially designed for an other purpose. So difficult to move from one floor to the other...
