Neighborhood: Camden
Famous for its sprawling cluster of markets and shops as well as for an embrace of all things counter culture, Camden offers a concentrated version of London street life. From bargain shopping and people watching to rubbing elbows in its abundance of pubs and bars, Camden is the place to be for many a Londoner. It is also home to some of the hottest live music venues in Europe. As packed as Camden High Street and its tributaries can get during the weekends, this neighborhood is right next to some of the city's most beloved outdoor spaces, namely Regent's Park and Primrose Hill.

Fabulous pub- one of London's best music pubs and a 'must visit' if in Camden Town
You dont come here for fabulous craft beers. You come here for a proper music pub with great Guinness and brilliant music during the day. If you love music it's a absolute must. If in Camden Town, a 'must visit'

    Gig night
When in Camden Town would recommend you pop to the Dublin Castle. We went for a gig and had a gret time both bands we seen were really good. Bar staff friendly. We will be back on our next trip to Camden Town. 😃

Great Pub, shame about the toilets.
I love this place, it is our 'go to' pub whenever we are in Camden. Friendly staff etc, but the toilets are absolutely disgusting, and the stench makes your eyes water. Please sort this out as it's really gross, and ruins an otherwise great establishment.

    THE DUBLIN CASTLE
Decent pub with live entertainment, with lots of history. Confusing pricing to go through the back doors to see the live bands and can only pay cash. The toilets smell terrible and could do with bleaching or air freshener in there.

Decent but be prepared for scary loos!
Went out for St Paddy's drinks following a painful loss of the Welsh rugby, but celebrating the win of my fellow Celts. Decent experience, wish I'd been drunk enough to handle the atrocity that was the toilets!!

As a girl in my early twenties, my friends and I were made to feel really uncomfortable when we went here a few months ago, and I thought I should share for any other people in my demographic thinking of going.

The music and drinks were fine, and the bartenders were friendly, so it wasn't so much an issue with the pub itself as the atmosphere there. After we had been there for about half an hour, minding our own business, a guy who was sat alone started heckling us and accusing us of being underage (we aren't, this has never happened to us before, and we all had ID.) We confirmed that we aren't underage, started to walk away, and he kept accusing us of lying, of ruining the pub, and of faking our British accents (??) so that some others around could hear.

Obviously the pub can't control everything its clients do, but we were so embarrassed and uncomfortable that we just left and went somewhere else. This wasn't late in the night- it was maybe 10pm- and we weren't drunk.

I just don't think this is somewhere that people from a younger age group would enjoy, and definitely not younger women. We were the only women under at least 30 that I could see in the pub, so I 100% think its a demographic thing, and there are a lot of people who would probably enjoy a visit.

A very young male member of the bar staff jumped across our table and then proceeded to move closure and closure to my partner until he was touching her and had his foot on her foot. When I told him to back off I was informed he worked there, as if that was some sort of justification for the act and as if working there entitled him to dominate and have ownership over the environment and people present. Disgusting. Please get in touch if you want further information on the member of staff

Absolutely dire place. Filthy toilets, filthy glasses, rude bar staff. A shocking advertisement for ‘London’. I was embarrassed for tourists who visit ... they’re one-time visitors, hence why the staff don’t care. Give it a miss - there are much better pubs in Camden. This is a complete and utter dump

Went to see a band play at the Dublin Castle on a Saturday night. Beer and bar staff in the pub were good, great atmosphere, very crowded. Concert venue at the rear is legendary, great sound.

Only downside was the toilets. Gross. Men’s toilets floor was swimming in urine, very unclean and unpleasant.

We always visit this pub when we visit Camden as we love it and can't resist it as great Madness fans. It looks great from the outside, it looked quite worn and a little tired on the inside but you don't go there for the decor. It's got a great atmosphere in there and when it's busy it's s great place to have a drink.

Dirty, expensive, badly organised. Old fashioned, noisy . Just vile. Late opening of back room and late start to event. Staff wandering about seemingly doing nothing. Sort out the banging doors.

Great little boozer! Can't believe I never visited before and I've been to Camden for Many years. The overall vibe is friendly and welcoming with friendly bar staff and great drinks. The female (owner I think) was lovely and kept busy collecting all the glasses in between the friendly crowds. The overall look of the pub is great surrounded by old memorabilia which is a joy to see. Cash accepted, decent toilets and a great gig room too. I will definitely visit again, thank you:)
