Neighborhood: Camden
Famous for its sprawling cluster of markets and shops as well as for an embrace of all things counter culture, Camden offers a concentrated version of London street life. From bargain shopping and people watching to rubbing elbows in its abundance of pubs and bars, Camden is the place to be for many a Londoner. It is also home to some of the hottest live music venues in Europe. As packed as Camden High Street and its tributaries can get during the weekends, this neighborhood is right next to some of the city's most beloved outdoor spaces, namely Regent's Park and Primrose Hill.

I loved the pub before even getting there and I was very impressed by such welcoming staff and friendly atmosphere. I can’t wait to be back in London and visit again!

Absolutely stinking toilets, I saw 7 people enter the premises without masks and people just milling in and out of the pub without masks to have a smoke.

I paid £6:40 for a drink averaging £5:04 across central London .the place cashes in on a few pictures and images on the walls to rip punters off .give it a miss loads of other establishments in Camden none worst .

The wonderful historic and lively pub is in the London borough of Camden, around a 10 minute walk from the train station. The Dublin Castle is rich in history for a few reasons. The history of the pub can be found online however if you're Irish it would be a sensational read. In more recent time the pub has founded Madness and several other extremley famous acts have visited or played in this pub. The pub has a whole host of music meorablilia available to view in the bar area and has a small venue at the back. When I visited a while back now the owner was more than happy to show us around and tell us plenty of interesting stories (October 31st 2019). The pub is one to visit whilst in Camden or even London to be fair. The beer range is fairly basic from memory so with a revised menu we could seriously be looking at a 5* venue.

I was out walking with my sister and we had read about this pub in her walking guide book so we thought we would have a look inside as lots of famous bands and singers have performed here in the past. Due to Covid regulations we were required to eat something so we got a Pizza to share and 2 double gin and tonics. The bar wasn’t busy so we lots of space and the jukebox was playing great songs so the atmosphere was comfortable and relaxing. Our pizza was delivered from outside and was absolutely gorgeous. Excellent pub with friendly staff and lots of history. Well worth a visit 10/10

We called in for a drink today whilst visiting Camden. The pub is so welcoming with great bar staff who made us feel welcome. This bar is full of charisma, no frills and so many famous bands have played under its roof, it’s inspiring. We will definitely be back.

Absolutely dire place. Filthy toilets, filthy glasses, rude bar staff. A shocking advertisement for ‘London’. I was embarrassed for tourists who visit ... they’re one-time visitors, hence why the staff don’t care. Give it a miss - there are much better pubs in Camden. This is a complete and utter dump

A visit recommended by a friend. Had to come for a gander. Madness played here, Amy Winehouse drank here... steeped in history and still just a great pub. Come check it out... prices don’t take the piss either.

Went to see a band play at the Dublin Castle on a Saturday night. Beer and bar staff in the pub were good, great atmosphere, very crowded. Concert venue at the rear is legendary, great sound.

Only downside was the toilets. Gross. Men’s toilets floor was swimming in urine, very unclean and unpleasant.
