This book shop was the inspiration for the “travel book shop” in the movie Notting Hill. It looks just like the inside of the shop in the movie, however this is not the location the book shop was in for filming of the movie. That...More

This is not the Blue Travel Bookshop in the movie Notting Hill. Perhaps it was once (maybe), but no longer. It is a souvenir shop now. However during weekends (Sat) there will be pop up shops infront of this bookshop hence, if you'd want to...More

The bookshop is even tinier than it looks in the movie, so you might not linger to browse. However there is a bench outside by the window where you can sit and take pictures. Just be aware that over the weekend there are usually already...More

I wouldn’t go out of my way to see it, but I was at the Portobello Road Markets and figured why not. Quite a cosy bookshop with a nice selection of books (though not extensive). Worth a stop for a look, a selfie and maybe...More

Went on a day when a donut shop nextdoor was given away a free donut. Never seen so many people in a queue for a bit of sugar. Nothing special but looks nice.

Firstly this is a great bookshop to visit, not your waterstones style, secondly the real one from the film not the one on Portobello road saying its that one. Well worth a visit if you like books, hopefully finding something not run of the mill.
