I bought this as an experience day treat for my boyfriend and we went down to the Docklands site at the beginning of October. He loves any kind of adrenaline/water activity and had a brilliant time. Steve is a really cool guy, they had a good laugh and we would thoroughly recommend. My boyfriend said he felt like iron man!!

I got bought this experience for Christmas and redeemed it on Saturday 29th July. I was ridiculously excited to give this a go as I am a keen snowboarder and adrenaline junkie. For those interested in this activity or thinking about booking, here are some comments which might help: 1) Location - Easy to find, close transport links. 2) Staff - You couldn't find friendly people! Management and instructors were chatty, approachable, helpful and professional. My instructor gave detailed feedback on how to improve whilst putting me at ease. 3) Equipment - Top quality equipment which looked well cared for. Wide range of wet suits, helmets and life jackets to accommodate all sizes. I would recommend taking your own wet suit though if you have one as I'm sure you can imagine, their ones smell a bit pondy. 4) Video - You have the option to purchase a recording of your experience using a GoPro Hero 3 for £25 which offers personal hand holding of the camera and shots taken by the instructor whilst you're in the air. Personally, I would have preferred to have taken my own GoPro and not only saved myself money but used accessories which allowed for better recordings but I can understand why they would not allow this 5) Facilities - The boat where you sign in and have a drink at the bar offers gender changing facilities, toilets and HOT showers which felt lovely after half hour in the water. 6) Experience - Being a snowboarding I picked up the basics quite quickly and felt that it came quite easily to me. So for those who wakeboard, snowboard, ski or skateboard will find this easier although with practise its not that hard to pick up for everyone else. I was up in the air after 10 minutes and absolutely LOVED it. The surreal experience of floating above the water with nothing but a fireman's hose connecting you to the jet ski was unbelievable. By the end I was attempting 360 spins (which I couldn't quite master!). The only reason I would not give it 5 stars was due to a swimathon being held where the flyboarding originally takes place. Because of this we had to go way out on the jet ski to a more secluded location where my friend walked 15 minutes to to find out that she couldn't see anything due to being behind large buildings. I would not hesitate to recommend. Definitely up for trying wakeboarding next! Thanks Big Crazy Team :)

A great experience Flyboarding with some good instruction from the team 👍 all in all extremely enjoyable experience. Is it easy? Well if you have experienced some activities with use of toes/heel pressure possibly the main thing is 2 take not if the instructions and you should be able to find yourself airborne in 2-3 attempts👍🏂 The only frustrating part was finding the team? I got the DLR 🚝.. to Victoria Dock & exited the train entered the postcode which sent me in the opposite direction to the water centre ? & so I contacted them thankfully they answered the phone & told me 2 head in the direction of the Emirates Air line ( Cable Car) which was on the opposite side of the train lines ... not in the direction of the postcode 😉... so remember once u vacate the train head for Emirates Air Line ( Cable Car) .. & then Big Crazy locate on Right side .. get changed in the bar on the water 💦👍 A fab experience 👍

This experience was a 30th Birthday present and by far my favourite gift! Firstly it was a breeze to find and only a short walk from royal Victoria station (5mins) if that. Right on top of the emirates cable car station so can always come in that way either. The staff were simply, fabulous!! So happy and helpful it certainly made the experience extra awesome. The flyboarding itself is WICKED, if u have good balance or any experience with snow boarding you should find it easy enough to get up in the air. The hard bit is mastering any tricks, turning and diving etc. we had an absolute BLAST and will most definitely be back for more. HIGHLY RECOMMEND this experience, this venue, this company. Absolutely FAULTLESS. 2 very happy customers.
