Whether you're headed here to check out the multitude of shops, theaters, cafes, pubs, and restaurants, or simply to be among the multitude of people who pass through this pretty part of town, you'll love soaking up the festive and historic atmosphere in and around Covent Garden. Even if you don't have tickets to the opera or a show at one of the many famous theaters here, don't be surprised if find yourself captivated by some impromptu act of a street performer wowing the crowds in Covent Garden's Piazza. If you do have tickets, you'll be pleased to note that many of the local eateries accommodate theatergoers with prix fixe menus, early dinners, and later than usual opening hours.

Went into this Gorgeous shop in the heart of Covent Garden with my Son and came out with the cutest shoes for him. They also do adult shoes which I have and love. Nora was so patient and kind with my son, sorting the perfect pair for him. Will be back for sure xx

So the upstairs of this shop is a shoe shop, and the downstairs is used as an art gallery - unusual combo!! As yu approach the entrance at the moment, there is a large neon paper flower and an interactive wall behind it. Turn to the right to find the stairs down to the gallery.
Seems that they have a fairy quick turnover of exhibitions so worth popping in to see what's going on. And of course, there are shoes too......

I was walking through covent garden when I found the Melissa shop. It had an exhibition of viviente Westwood shoes which was great. I got some pair of shoes that are super comfortable and trendy. The Spanish shop assistant was great and very nice. If you are into design I recommend visiting the shop not only for the shoes but for the exhibitions and the displays.
