Overview

Football is one of the city's greatest passions. There are two big clubs in the city, but it's those playing in red who enjoy most of the attention. Liverpool FC opens its Anfield Stadium to visitors during the day when no games are scheduled. Led by enthusiastic guides, the museum and stadium tour gives sports fans behind-the-scenes access to one of the best-known soccer clubs in the world.

Although the atmosphere was almost unique in the days when it was a standing area the atmosphere remains excellent and the guys in this particular end of the Ground are always exceptionally friendly to a follower of the team from the "Blue" half of Glasgow!

The stones have been laid up to just over 10,000. If you have a stone, once it's laid you'll get an email to confirm it's down and also give you the approximate location. Hope that helps
