Football is one of the city's greatest passions. There are two big clubs in the city, but it's those playing in red who enjoy most of the attention. Liverpool FC opens its Anfield Stadium to visitors during the day when no games are scheduled. Led by enthusiastic guides, the museum and stadium tour gives sports fans behind-the-scenes access to one of the best-known soccer clubs in the world.

Tour guide was excellent - I felt I got some insight into the character and work ethic of LFC. Visitors were given a souvenir LFC lanyard with optional grass clippings from the turf! When we were pitch-side we enjoyed the recording of 'You'll never walk alone'.

Ive visited anfield about 10 times now and i just love the place. The atmosphere, smells and the people are great with you. The main stand looks amazing the only thing ill say about it though is when i was sat right at the top of it for the plymouth game and you just couldnt feel the atmosphere at all.... More

I just love coming up to Anfield, in recent years I haven't been able to come as often as I would like due to work and a young family. I brought my 6 year old with me this time and the Anfield magic has rubbed off on him. He's now a red for life. New stand is fantastic

My names Craig Cooper, I'm a part-time Everton and Man Utd fan. But when I came to Liverpool last week, it blew we away. Corr that stand, it's bloody big isn't it. I'm a big boy, but even I felt small. Thanks to Romelu and Gareth for the free tickets. Not happy with the selection of food, I was told... More

Anfield stadium was the most fantastic place I have been to in ages. The atmosphere in the stadium was out of this world. An experience of a life time.

This visit was the whole reason for our trip to Liverpool. We are massive Red fans but my youngest son had never actually been to Anfield! We caught the Anfield bus from the Albert Dock which was great. Lovely guide called Oliver who told us lots of interesting things, both about the areas of the town we passed through and... More

Great tour by knowledgeable and enthusiastic guides. Construction under way so at present you see the temporary changing rooms and can't go in the tunnel. Nevertheless well worth a visit.

As a Liverpool fan, the stadium is fantastic and I cannot fault the atmosphere and history! The only disappointment was that the meeting rooms and boxes are very basic. I was a guest, and had never been to that part of the stadium before. Still great though.

Excellent and very informative tours. Dave and Sarah made the trip fun and very interesting. We also had a 3 course meal in one of the executive boxes and got to meet legend Jan Molby!

OK, so I'm a life long fan and therefore biased. But as the crowd sing You'll Never Walk Alone and the flags pass across the Kop you can't help to be moved, or hopefully awed if you are the away team. My seats are in the new stand and provide great viewing. And the club house is a good place... More
