Well, where do I start? My daughter found this lovely shop not long after she moved into the area and has been an avid fan ever since...of course she got me to tag along one time a while ago and the rest is history. It's a bit like walking into an Aladdins Cave....everywhere you look there is something that catches your eye...and then something else....and something else. Honestly I could spend hours in here just looking. Sue is so very friendly and we have some great conversations about all sorts and she's so knowledgeable about every single item you pick up...she certainly knows her stuff. The clothes are to die for, unusual and so stylish and the jewellery.....ohhhhh it's gorgeous, glamorous, beautiful and so much more with very reasonable prices. This really is a jewel of a place. Pop in and see for yourself, you won't be disappointed.

Thank you so much for the glowing review of my shop. As a small independent trader, good honest reviews on a site such as TripAdvisor are of utmost benefit to us!
We have a major struggle to compete with "The Big Boys" for the likes of advertising & marketing etc. ...but what we can offer is personal customer service, along with hand-chosen, unique, quality stock!
Thank you once more for taking the time to sit down & write this, it is very gratefully received. It's so lovely when visitors to my shop return again & again and soon become friends, Thank you both for your loyalty!
With Regards
Sue

Haven't been to Mooshy La La for a while but needed a special card and remembered getting some handmade cards from here before. SO pleased I went in, not only the 'special' card I was looking for but also got an amazing hair slide/decoration and a beautiful chain. Ordered a few more cards and regret not buying a dress I saw so will be back this week to buy it. This isn't 'shopping' it's an experience and I left feeling indulged and more knowledgeable about beautiful things.

Thank you so much for taking time to review Mooshy La La, Farrar, it really has a big impact on a small business like mine! Visitors to the City actually DO refer to TripAdvisor! These reviews are extremely well received, and very valuable!
I'm so pleased you like my hand-made cards, I make them myself, and each one is slightly different, I love making them but as a one-man-band time is of the essence, and the demand for them is quite high so I will always say "Get them while you can!" Hahaha!
Many thanks for patronizing my little trove of treasure & I look forward meeting you again.
Regards
Sue

A shop full of treasures, pretty/beautifu/useful/ decorative, everywhere you look there's something to delight. This is not just a lovely shop, it's an education as well true vintage not second hand tat, and Sue is so helpful and knowledgeable you can just tell this is a passion for her. I only went in to look around, bought some gorgeous hand made cards which then led on to me buying a vase as a wedding present for 'the couple who have everything' but they won't have one of these that's for sure ! Then a kaftan for my holidays begged to come home with me . All at a fabulous price. Going back on Saturday when I have more time, for some birthday presents and perhaps a little something sparkly for myself . Great to see a business like this in a local high street, even better you can park without paying exorbitant car park charges

An amazing range of jewlery, accessories, vintage pieces and furniture! Great for buying a small gift for someone, or even something very special for yourself. I love Mooshy La La and always find new things that I can't get anywhere else!

This is a fabulous little shop that you definitely have to put on your must visit list!
I often pop in on my walks and am always greeted with a warm welcome and a fabulous shop full of goodies .... often when I'm looking for an unusual item whether it's a piece of jewellery, an unusual item of clothing or a little unique gift I head off to Mushy La La's ......
I love having a little mooch and have bought some beautiful items...... go on treat yourself and pay this beautiful little treasure box a visit x

Thank you so so much Anne, its wonderful getting a new review especially a glowing 5 star one like this, it makes it all worthwhile.
It has such an impact on a "one-man-band" like myself to get such great feedback, as you will have no doubt observed 'Mooshy La La' is my passion but it is also very hard work to source and present my treasures. Thank you for taking the time to write this, it has given me a bit of wind in my sails on this bleak February morning! Hahaha!

Yesterday I discovered the most amazing Hidden Gem in Smith down rd Liverpool..
Mooshy Lala. This is the most beautiful vintage shop I have seen in a very long time. A beautiful array of ladies vintage attire, dresses with exquisite beading, beautiful jewellery, bags... etc. displayed in a magical way, the interior of the shop took my breath away...as well as the amazing window displays. The owner a lovely lady called Sue Gannon is so friendly and knowledgeable and there is no pressure for a sale. After a lovely chat and not long enough browse, I was a little pushed for time unfortunately, I walked away with a beautiful 1930s purse, how could I resist.. I had given up hope that such a shop as this could exist anymore in Liverpool and I am so grateful that there are still those who love vintage as much as myself who have a desire to offer beautiful things of high quality at very reasonable prices.. I will definitely be going back now that I have discovered this Gem of a place... The saddest part I feel is that places like this deserve to be part of the City Centre so more people can be thrilled by the uniqueness of such an abode.. This beautiful shop is a Gem and one that should not remain hidden...x

Thank you so much for such a wonderful review, its such a boost for small independents like myself to get this sort of feedback and lovely to share my passion for historical fashion with someone who really appreciates the work that went in to these antique & vintage garments, part of the joy of my work is sharing stories & showing off my collection of treasures. It was a pleasure to meet you and hope it wont be long before you call in again! This time I hope you will have even more time to browse!

From the roaring twenties to the famous old Liverpool BUS STOP boutique. From Greta Garbo to Ossie Clark. I could sit in Mooshy La La all day long. A destination every time I'm home. Simply beautiful especially at Christmas, Sue is an expert for those looking for a little by gone glamour.
This little shop is such a jewel.

If you are visiting Liverpool you will, more often than not, be tempted to spend most of your time in the city centre. However, there are other interesting little treasures tucked away outside the centre. One such area is Penny Lane (of The Beatles song fame). Scousers, when they say Penny Lane, mean not just the lane but the area around it. One such little treasure to visit on your way to Penny Lane should definitely be Mooshy La La. A magnificent cave of glittering treats for fans of vintage clothes, jewelry and antiques. The owner is a charming and chatty lady with a real passion for the beautiful things she sells. After browsing around this jewel encrusted Aladdin's cave of finery you can go and have something to eat on Allerton Road. Parking should not be a problem, there are plenty of side roads in which to park if the main road, Smithdown Road, is full. Just take some time because you will need it to browse and buy.
Small... but a treasure chest of vintage finery. I can't recommend it highly enough.

Thank you so much Robert, reviews like this make it all worthwhile, small specialist shops like myself do not really get the opportunity to have a base in the hub of main city centres of larger cities (rents/rates etc) and therefore are often overlooked by visitors to the city. Thanks to TripAdvisor with reviewers like yourself we are seeing lots more visitors venturing out to the interesting & diverse areas just a short bus ride out of the city. Thank you once again for taking the time to write this, it is gratefully received! Sue x

I love browsing and shopping at Mooshy La La, whenever I'm in Liverpool. There are so many treasures attractively displayed and the prices are extremely reasonable. The owner is very knowledgeable about everything in the shop, and can give the background story to various pieces, time periods, etc. I have bought many items here over the past few years: for myself, and also to give as gifts.

This shop is a delight the owner sue is knowledgeable about fashion and a delight to meet nothing is too much trouble and there is no pressure. She is welcoming and embraces the local fashion students from the college in providing ideas a factor I have witnessed on my many visits . I would happily spend my day there trying all the jewellery which is gorgeous . I popped nI for a wedding outfit bought 4 things which are amazing and will be back again soon due to the amazing items for sale and the hospitality and the fact that my best friend persuaded me to part with one of my purchases . This shop is definitely worth a trip or in my case many trips
