As a National Trust property this takes some beating...a beautiful house and gardens... And got plane spotters, you get to watch them too. The clotted cream tea is one of the best ... If not THE best we've had...and we taste test quite a few! The warm scones ...mmmm

Speke Hall Events. Went to see outdoor performance of The Canterbury Tales performed by The Pantaloons Theatre Company. Lovely setting but The Pantaloons stole the show. Soo funny! Going back to see Gulliver's Travels in August. Well organised beautiful setting - just remember you chair, picnic, wine and insect repellent!

I visited Speke Hall with my partner on a whim, the day before my graduation, after searching for things to do in Liverpool that we had not done already. You wouldn't expect such a gem to be hidden behind an industrial estate! The scenery is just beautiful and the house itself stunning. The staff in each room are really helpful... More

Speke Hall is on my doorstep and I've only visited a handful of times, my last visit was about 7 years ago, I have left it too long. Spectacular grounds and Tudor House, great value with a National Trust membership, well it's free, worth just to call for a stroll and cream tea. Staff were excellent and very informative, rooms... I went here early July for a family day out. We all thoroughly enjoyed it. It was money well spent. There is so much to see and do.
