I visited Speke Hall with a friend about 15 years ago, though remembering the house, I had no recollection of the lovely grounds so this was a nice surprise. Well sign posted, we managed to find it without getting lost for once and had a...More

We have visited before, last year, April, there is a new reception building, the staff are very friendly and eager to supply any additional information you may require. We took our six year old granddaughter, who has also visited before. If you have been before...More

We brought our dog to Speke Hall on a sunny Sunday afternoon and had a good time. We have an individual National Trust membership, so we just bought an extra ticket for the gardens, which cost £8.10. It was quite expensive considering the walks aren’t...More

Speke Hall is a family favorite of ours. Taking a guided tour is highly recommended, for the interesting history of the house alone. Outside there are plenty of places for a picnic and on site cafe. There is a wonderful maze for children and adults...More

Just walked around to find a welcome from somebody! To check how well maintained it all was. Well, in that respect, NO. Maze, in particular was damaged and littered. Litter seemed days old. Woodland sculptures were filthy. A wipe and inspection should be done every...More

Lovely gardens, plenty of areas for children to run around and a maze to explore and entertain. Cafe and restaurant. Also activities taking place such as archery and where younger ones made small shields and crowns. Picnic areas where you can take your own food....More

Had a nice day out when visiting family in Liverpool. Lovely grounds and house with a nice cafe on site. Children did start to get a bit bored towards the end but that was mainly down to the weather which made the day quite restricted.

I would say about 3-4 hours the house and grounds, afterwards having lunch or afternoon tea. Its a day out really, weather permitting of course. Even if its cold its still a beautiful place to visit .
