Great value for money day out. Took our 7+8 year old girls. Not too big in terms of walking. Plenty of stuff for kids. Buy a bag of food with your tickets and feed the sheep and goats as you walk around. When paying (£8.00 for a family of 4) get you petting and horse riding tickets at a pound... More

I've been to many farms with my kids aged 4 and 11 and I must say I was pleasantly surprised that this little farm hasn't been on my radar before!! Myself and the kids really enjoyed our day out, the only downfall was a member of staff in the cafe spoiled the overall experience by constantly playing on her phone... More

Thank you for giving us four stars Linda. We are glad that you enjoyed your visit and equally happy that you plan to return. Its a shame that one thing spoilt your overall experience but we are investigating this amongst the café staff. More

Acorn Farm is a good, cheap day out for all the family. Very reasonable admission prices. Then £2 per child for horse riding and £1 each person for animal petting. My two children really enjoyed themselves. It is not a very big farm so therefore there is not as many animals as other farms, but still quite a lot of... More

Thanks very much for your kind comments. We try and keep our prices throughout the farm as reasonable as possible, we all know how expensive a family day out can become. We are a working farm so it's lovely for us to see and hear about people enjoying their visit. We hope you will come back and see us again... More

We took our two grandchildren aged 2 and 4 and they both enjoyed the couple of hours we were there. It is good value for money. If you want to feed the animals or chickens you can buy bags of food. They also have a petting area which costs extra on timed tickets plus they did horse riding. There is... More

Thanks so much for your lovely comments, and so good to read that you both enjoyed your visit.
