A good laugh with the karaoke providing the entertainment, unfortunately there was a poor selection of draft lager just the Fosters on tap. Reasonably priced and one of the few pubs I'd bother with in Mathew St.

What has happened to the place that gave me so many happy memories in my early twenties? It has only just re-opened and still looks pretty much as it did, never ever any frills, just a solid down to earth boozer in the middle of...More

This place has the feel of a classic boozer joint. The kicker is that it retains the booth made famous by a photograph (which hangs next to the booth) of John, Paul, George and Pete having some pints before a gig at the Cavern Club...More

Filthy dive. Stinks of detergent. Awful Kareoke. Frequented by simpletons, scruffy povs and tourists. Doormen stand around outside and let anybody in. Rear smoking yard available if you’re into white lines. Doormen won’t bother you. Just sit with your back to the cctv in the...More

We walked in and walked back out again. The pub is tiny and whilst full of character is not worth bursting your ear drum! There are tons of lovely pubs around, just not this one
