Ok, as a visiting Aussie tourist, I’ll admit I only searched for this place because of the Lennon connection (and it was conveniently just around the corner from where we were staying in Hope St). Beatles fix aside, happy to report this is a great...More

I hadn't been in the Cracke for over 50 years, and I was not disappointed when I visited recently. Still a good selection of beers, and lovely little rooms I remembered. A bit more "Beatled" than in the 1960's, but non the worse for that....More

We came here because it is one of the old hangouts of John Lennon. They have a plaque on the wall saying as such. But when we talk to the bartender, she turned out not to be so much as a fan and told us...More

Awful pub awful service. Shame really as such a lot of heritage and lots of visitors travel from all over to visit this iconic pub. Unprofessional staff and slow service. People walking out and leaving, such a shame. Head to another iconic pub, plenty within...More

Frequented by John Lennon, back in time. Just an ordinary pub, no frills, decent pints and a nice social space to enjoy with friends!

Regularly call in for a few pints. Love the JW Lees lager. Bargain £2 pint. Always a good atmosphere and good service at the bar. One of our favourite pubs in Liverpool.

Went here on a trip to Liverpool as I’m a huge John Lennon fan and this was his favourite pub before he was in the Beatles. Proper old school pub. Lovely people we met but if you’re not thick skinned, you could be in for...More
