Friendly barman (and dog) and great range of both cask and craft beer. As it was a quiet and chilly Sunday afternoon, not many were in to warm the place up but it's packed on peak nights. Recommended, but be warned that, as with many...More

Lovely lads run this place, 2 brothers with a vision to start a little micro pub. Minimalist, warm wooden comfy decor. Always some nice punters in, and a great selection of ales, beers, ciders, spirits, wine and local gin. I love to support these guys.

My favorite pub where I go for a quick pint after my nightly dog walk, great service by staff that are enthusiastic about the craft beers (makes a big difference to these characterless larger pub chains. Occasionally on the weekends I pop into the pub...More

Beer choice and service was fine but 2 dogs fighting in the bar was not good. And this seemed to be encouraged by a customer and the female serving.

The Trap has quickly become one of our favourite places to have a drink on South Road. It is a micro pub so small but has a quaint feel. The staff are really friendly (including the pub dog Boo) and there is a great selection...More

Love this place. Good beer, helpful staff, and the best pub dog in the area! Very reasonable prices, but it can get busy - I guess that’s the problem with being very good and quite small!

Amazing is all I have to say. Friendly people, very engageing, great reasonably priced drink and they are uba dog friendly. Totally relaxed atmosphere and I have no hesitation about returning - only downside is that they don't serve food yet
