If you haven't been pre covid you will love it!
Nov 2021 • Family
This place is great for children and if you haven't been pre covid then you wont have anything to compare it to and will love it! Unfortunately I much preferred the system before...we used to be able to spend all day there (10am-gone 4pm!) and still had to drag the kids out as they could happily have spent longer there! Now you get half the time for THE SAME PRICE! 3 hours isn't enough time and unfortunately you get moved on from each zone after 45 minutes and can't go back! My two used to love wandering back and forth between the different sections as they pleased. My son would have easily spent a lot longer than 45 minutes in the role play and science areas, however was bored and hanging around waiting to move on in the art section! We didn't even get to do everything in the science bit and had to stop what we were doing to move on to make slime and see the science show so the next group could come in. Having a different experience to compare it to meant the visit felt rushed and timed and whilst the kids still enjoyed it (there are some fab activities!!) I personally wouldn't come back whilst the current 3 hour time limit is in place! Having said that if you haven't been before I would definitely recommend a visit because there is so much to do...just not enough time any more to enjoy it fully for the same price as before!

Fun filled 3 hours
Sep 2021 • Friends
This is the second time we have visited Imagine That but the first since Covid and the 45 min sessions in each area. We preferred the way it was previously where you go do your own thing and didn’t have a set time. We totally understand why it’s like this but preferred it the old way. If it was how it used to be I’d have given 5 out of five. My son who is almost 7 got a bit fed up in the role play area and it was a very long 45 mins keeping him entertained in there. He’d much rather have spent this time in the other sections. Having said this though he still had a fantastic time. So much to do and see. Staff were friendly and informative. My son loved making snow then having it snow. Making art on a bike, splashing around in the water, painting a car, stomp rockets, catapults the list goes on. There are lots of great little things to make and take home. Bath bomb, slime, fridge magnet, spin art, snow. 3 hours passed very quickly as there was so much to do. We didn’t use the cafe as there wasn’t really time to stop. Toilets were clean and available in each section.
I think adult prices could be a little cheaper but it wouldn’t stop us returning. All in all a great afternoon.

Brilliant day out
Oct 2021 • Family
We had a brilliant time at imagine that. I actually much prefer it with the Covid restrictions. You get 45 mins in each area, a total of 3 hours which is plenty of time. It was very well organised. Each area bar the last has a cafe and plenty of seating, but the last area still has seating and toilets. My son got to make and take home fridge magnets, slime, snow and a bath bomb. We really did have a great time. The only issue is parking. There are just not enough spaces, although it is free parking. You can park elsewhere and walk. If you're visiting Liverpool it's only a short taxi ride from the city centre.

We visited here on Sunday with my 3 year old boy and we had a great time. It's well organised, clean and the staff are friendly. Lots to do for children of all ages and my son loved it all. Would definitely recommend.

Brilliant fun!

Fantastic! My little girl is only 18 months old, so I was worried it might be a bit old for her, but thought we’d give it a go! Absolutely fantastic, role play section, followed by arts, then science and then the experiment room (although we were getting a sleepy at this point)!
So much fun to be had! Clean place and very reasonably priced for a constant 3 hours of entertainment!
Look forward to coming back soon!

What an amazing place for little ones
Sep 2021 • Family
Wow. This place is amazing. The 40 mins in each of the four sections is just the right amount of time. The activities, from role play to science and art, are interesting, fun and informative. I've never visited a kids activity place where the staff take such an interest, exceptional staff. Little cafe inside is lovely and good value for money. Clean throughout. Lots of keepsakes to take home. Will definitely visit again. We arrived for a 9.30am slot and there were only 4 other families so this was the right amount of people to enjoy every activity at least once. Not sure how busy it gets at later times.

Three fun hours of playtime, art and kids' science
Aug 2021
Was looking for somewhere to take my 8-year-old daughter who likes art for the day and found Imagine That! on TripAdvisor and happy to recommend it to others.

Basically four sections with 45 minutes in each so your child stays for 3 hours.

First we had the play section with various themed sections with toys and costumes such as TV news studio (pictured), pizza parlour, vet, diner, supermarket, TV stage, construction site.

Second was art with the car (pictured) and various other painting and craft activities.

Third was the science and fourth the slime/bath bomb making.

Was clean and well-maintained.

Great visit !
Aug 2021 • Family
Second visit this summer holiday. Been impressed both times and really like the new set up of staying in each area for 45 minutes before moving to the next, on previous occasions it’s been hard to keep tabs on two children each with different interests ! I also like the fact that it’s now bookable and on both occasions despite it being the holidays it has not been too busy. Staff are all very friendly. Science display was well pitched. Plenty to do in the creative area - liked the fridge magnets. Overall a lot to occupy my daughter for the time available . Only down side would be charging for adults.

Great day out
Aug 2021 • Family
Went with some of my family today. Had a fantastic day. Lots to do plus grandkids found it very interesting. My grown son is disabled and is usually limited to places I go with my grandson but not the case here. Recommend going here for a fantastic day out.

Wasn’t an enjoyable day for us!
Aug 2021 • Family
Visited today with my 2 year old son who has additional needs. He loved the first room with the construction area/role play in. However after 45 minutes we was sent in to the next section and the first section was then blocked off.
My little boy had an absolute meltdown, he doesn’t do well with structured activities, and the next room had mainly art and crafts in it which he doesn’t enjoy at all. This wasn’t helped by having a whole room staring at me whilst he proceeded to head butt the floor, pull his hair and kick me.
I then noticed the outside section so quickly whisked him away to calm down outside. We also bought dinner from the cafe to eat outside. However by the time we’d sat down and finished dinner the lady was back again to move us to the next section. Cue another meltdown from my boy because by the time he’d eaten his dinner he had no time to play at all in the outside area and was then pushed into another inside room full of mainly stuff he doesn’t enjoy. We found some little cars right by the door that he loved playing with which managed to keep him busy for 30 minutes, our time was over to go to the next section to finish off with making a bath bomb and slime. Another kick off from my little boy as he just doesn’t enjoy this sort of thing. However it was made worse by having a room full of parents staring at me whilst he was doing so, this also included the member of staff in that room also staring at me with dagger eyes as he was screaming that loud nobody could hear her instructions.
I swiftly grabbed my little boy and made for the exit.
Definitely don’t think I’ll return here again. We drove an hour to get here as my brother had previously brought my niece and she loved it. So he suggested it.
I’m assuming the sections is a new thing to keep people moving through. However for my child that just wasn’t any good at all.
It’s also unfair as most people will want to stop for dinner at some point. Like we did. My little boy has to eat dinner at the same time every day.
Therefore losing his full time in one section. Probably the main section he enjoyed the most.
