Great experience! Our 4 year old absolutely loved the ride. Life commentary by a tour guide brings to life the history of Lincoln. Tickets are valid for 48h (£12 per adult , kids go for free). Great value for money!

Yep. Cracking. Ken knows his onions, awful awful traffic meant he had to fill time talking about various historical tangents but he did a great job. Luke was a nice driver. Worth a go if youre in lincoln, £9 and kids are free and you can ride on and off for a day or so. Good do

A must do, brilliant bus ride and views from the top. Guides are very well informed. Driver is amazing, wouldn't fancy his job! The tickets are valid for 2 days so would last all weekend hopping all round the city

Lovely sights of the best areas of Lincoln, with friendly hosts passionate about the areas history, always happy to answer all your questions. When we visit we always travel on this sightseeing bus. Coming from Norfolk we always look forward to this, the high light of our holiday on here. This is also the best value price wise compared to Norwich and more so the mediocre 45ish mins in Cambridge that costs a LOT more for a crammed bus with the grumpy driver yuk.

Highly recommended tour but try and get Ken - tall chap who obviously loves his city and thanked us for visiting. Any traffic delays he embraced them by taking tangents into other interesting tales. Next day we thought we’d repeat tour) as free!). Unfortunately the elderly lady has a downbeat manner and whilst waiting to get on she actually said ‘if traffics bad don’t waste your money’ we hadn’t realised at that time she was the new guide waiting to get on for her shift! Moaning about the traffic, children, council, fish n chop shop, it became annoying so we got off halfway around! When we had the long expected delay on the long decline hill she had plenty of time to point out attractions but actually missed out one of the important ones we’d learnt about the day before - the spectacular bomber command obelisk!! So, it should have been 5 stars.

Hop on, hop off bus tours always a good idea when visiting a city for the first time. Especially when they stop at sights you want to visit.
It can seem pricey but tickets are valid for 2 days
This tour really ought to be renamed comedy bus tour. The Jokes and puns came thick and fast from our knowledgeable tour guide

Having a live commentary really makes a difference. We had Lesley who was very interesting with little snippets you wouldn't get from a pre-recorded guide. E.g. she told us how Lincoln has been revolutionised since the University has been established

My wife and I throughly enjoyed a trip on the Lincoln Tour Bus, the commentary was a good blend of facts and humour, teaching us a bit about Lincoln’s history whilst we took in the views. The tour guide (Ken) was extremely knowledgeable and entertained us but also provided some personal recommendations for places to try local beers. The driver (Martin) gave us a smooth ride and ensured he stopped long enough for Ken to tell his stories before continuing.

All in all a great trip, enhanced by the fact the ticket lasts 2 days and can be used unlimited times. For those who don’t fancy walking up Steep Hill too many times you can use the bus to save your legs. Thoroughly recommend!

Interesting comments and information from two different guides on two subsequent days, taking advantage of the 2 day ticket. The driver Lindsey was very helpful and impressed us with her driving negotiating around round the narrow streets. We thought it was a shame that the service was finishing at the end of September due to a shortage of drivers.

We thoroughly recommend this excellent Tour Bus trip!
Our guide was Ken and he was brilliant!
His commentary was very interesting and funny too!
Our bus was expertly driven by Lindsay.
We had a lovely time and it took about 50 minutes and cost £26 for us 2 adults and free for our 15 year old son!
You can pick up the bus in numerous places in Lincoln….Up Hill and Down Hill!
You can hop on and hop off too if you wish!
We picked it up outside the Cathedral.
We were disappointed for the company as there were not many on the bus!
It’s a must do if you’re visiting Lincoln!
