This was a well organised visit with and held recorded assitance over 18 points of interest. The views over Lincoln are worth the worth the admission view in its self.

Excellent audio tour which together with the display boards bring the ruin to life. The member of staff on duty was very helpful and knowledgeable.

Hidden behind the cathedral, I was amazed at how much there is to see here I only intended on a quick pop in and out because I thought it was a tiny site and i get in free anyway, the pictures ive seen do not do it justice, there are so many hidden rooms I think children would enjoy discovering,... Visied here as passing by. It's a great little attraction but as the place is mainly ruins I would recommend that you use the audio headsets. Definitely worth a visit though.

An essential part of the old city history but not much left to see. Enough though to understand its layout and use.

This English Heritage property takes a bit of effort scrambling through the ruins to envision what it was once like. The audio commentary was a bit dull and the interpretation boards were few and far between. Once you stop listening to every audio numbered stop there is no obvious route around the site, which is quite uneven in places. We... More

Lincoln is full of history. All it takes is a nice afternoon. Forget the shops, the noise and all the modern trappings of life and imagine yourself in another era. Wonderful!!

You must visit the Bishops palace if you go to the lincoln christmas market. It may look like it's a bit hidden away from the main market but it is the most orthentic area there. I like the way they put straw down and dress in medieval costume. There is some fantastic views of lincoln cathedral above you.be aware that... More

Visited last summer with family members. The children and their mum enjoyed dressing up at the end of the tour. It took a couple of hours to stroll around and you do get a one of those recordings to guide you. Found out some interesting local facts. It was quite a hot day when we visited so it was rather...
