excellent access, all around actual buildings, there is a car park opposite usher gallery, but disabled spaces on a slight slope. worth a visit, great cafe with great food though a bit tight for power chair. disabled toilet size ok, but possibly issue for vision impaired as doors not very clearly marked and blends in with the space.

It was brilliant to see the original John Carmichael oil painting of Lincoln Cathedral from the Brayford. I've had the print for years and specifically went to see this original artwork. Also liked the works by LS Lowry with the cathedral on the horizon and artwork by Lincolnshire artists Peter De Wint and William Logsdail. Beautiful ceramics, enamels, glass and... More

Stumbled across this museum and gallery by accident as you would miss it very easily. So glad we did. Brilliant exhibitions about the local history and landscape of Lincoln. Deffo worth spending a morning wondering around this place!

Hidden away in the centre of Lincoln is this little explored area and this museum which although not massive is not to be missed especially as it is free. There is also a cafe and toilets to complete the experience! Yay!

It is a bit late now as we visited on the last day of the exhibition. As has been pointed out, entrance to the Gallery is normally free but for the 'BP' portraits it was £5, and £4 for seniors - no problems with that. I fully admit to being a cultural philistine and heathen and obviously lack the sophistication,... More
