Returning to Boston after many years a climb up The Stump tower was rewarded with an astounding panoramic view of the town and surrounding fens. A beautiful church, the landmark for invading aircraft in the war it still has the flood marks on the pillars.

We visited the church today it is an amazing place . There is a tea room inside the church for a cup of tea and a cake. Then you can walk off the cake by climbing the 200+ steps to the top of the bell tower for an amazing view of the countryside. Just outside the church is the Guild... More

This is a parish church of cathedral proportions. The stained lass is magnificent. I wish I'd had more time to spend a longer visit, and to climb the 200+ steps to see the view from the top of "the stump".

Beautiful place to visit. make sure you take time to go up the tower- a long walk up but the sights are fantastic. Staff are very friendly.

Seriously under-estimated how long I would need to spend here to do it justice. Magnificent collection of misericords and other wood carvings. The more you look, the more you see! Also has decent toilet.

an interesting saxon church set in the centre of town, now open occasionaly as a cafe, but a total mess inside in need of refurbishment, untidy, dirty, foul cheap furnishings and carpets; a disgrace to the city at its heart. this needs gutting and redoing tastefully - without carpets, with wifi.

I am a non believer but love visiting old churches for the Architecture and this place does not disapoint. Boston gets some bad press but it is definitely worth a visit on Market day for the buzz of that, add a visit to S.Botolphs aka "Boston Stump" AND the Guidhall Museum and you have got a very good day out... We enjoyed our trip to Boston very much and found St. Botolph's Church most interesting. The tower is a stunning landmark and worth a visit.
