Bransby Horses is one of the UK’s largest equine welfare charities in the UK, completely funded by the generosity of public donations.

We are dedicated to improving the lives of horses, ponies, donkeys and mules since we were established in 1968.

We have rescued, rehabilitated, re-homed or retired thousands of equines and we are working harder than ever to continue making a positive difference to equines wherever and whenever we can.

Between our two sites in Lincolnshire and Herefordshire we have over 400 animals currently in our care, which keeps us constantly busy.

Bransby Horses Visitor Centre near Lincoln is open to the public. A great day out for all the family with plenty to see and do.

We just happened to pop in thinking there wouldn't be much to see...but we were wrong. There were so many lovely horses and donkeys. The walk round all the paddocks is really lovely. The staff were really friendly and the cafe was nice too. This is a really lovely place and the animals are well cared for. Would definitely visit... More

We took our 3 year old granddaughter for the first time ever!! Why haven't we discovered this attraction before we ask ourselves?? The whole area is laid out to maximise a very sedate wander around the horses, ponies and donkeys along a designated walk way. There are lots of seats and a children's play area too. It all felt very... More

Admittedly it is March and there is some building work going on but for children with small legs walking out to the outlying fields of a 300 acrea estate is not going to happen. Very few animals around. A bit of a disappointment this time.

Hi Travelling_Imp_1956, Sorry to hear you were disappointed with your visit this time. Unfortunately we have to rotate fields to allow them to rest and to keep the worm burden under control, particularly over winter. We also have some nervous animals at the Visitor Centre which needed to be moved temporarily so they weren't frightened by the building works. We... More

We have visited Bransby horses on a number of occasions both as a family group and as a couple. The horses are very well cared for and the paddocks offer a lovely walk to see the horses and donkeys. The feedroom cafe offers a good range of food and drinks which is a lovely end to a walk round.
