The Lincoln Ghost Walk is such a fun way to spend an evening. It’s only £6 per adult, which is great value for money for an informative and entertaining ghost walk!

Since moving to Lincoln, we have been on the ghost walk quite a few times and have also taken friends and family along - everyone really enjoyed it. The tour guides are all brilliant in their own ways, but on our most recent walk, we had a fabulous lady for the first time, who does the alternative route on Thursdays. She was really excellent and we can’t wait to take family back for the alternative route.

If you do go on The Lincoln Ghost Walk multiple times, you will obviously hear a few of the same stories that are crucial to understanding the dark history of Lincoln, however, even after going about 6 or 7 times, we hear stories of different “hot spots” that we hadn’t heard before so it’s always fascinating!

I definitely recommend for dark Autumn evenings - it just adds even more to the spooky atmosphere!

We actually changed the dates of our few days away to incorporate this, and I'm so pleased we did. Karen led the walk; she had already been emailing me back and forth being really helpful with my queries.
She didn't disappoint on the night. My husband wasn't feeling well and so it was just me and my 13 year old son. We both enjoyed it so much, and it wasn't even dark!
Karen is a natural storyteller; she obviously loves what she does, and makes it fun and interesting. We weren't too pleased to find out that a large portion of the hauntings seemed to take place at The White Hart - the hotel that we were staying in, and no-one would divulge the room number...😱😱. Especially as ee had just booked an extra night there before we came out for the ghost walk!
My son also took a photo of the cathedral, and when we looked, there was something spooky looking in one of the windows!
Highly recommend. Good value for money and fun for the family.

We thoroughly enjoyed our ghost walk. Dan was extremely welcoming and friendly. We were part of a relatively small group and Dan chatted to each and every one of us as we visited the most haunted areas of the city. Dan shared the stories articulately and held our interest the whole way. Highly commended.

Really entertaining and enjoyable. The lady that carried out the walk was very knowledgeable and made it interesting and fun. There was a large group of us but she made sure everyone could hear and no-one got left behind.

It was nice to see and hear about parts of Lincoln that you might not normally know where there.

This was a really entertaining walk, with a lot packed into the 70 minutes and a guide who knew how to deliver the stories for effect. Starting outside the Tourist Information Office by the castle the walk led the group to the castle itself, and around the cathedral quarter before returning almost to the start. Covered ghostly tales from Roman times right up to the present day. Excellent value for money at £7.50/ adult – almost a third of what I paid for a similar but shorter and less entertaining walk in Edinburgh. The walks run Wednsday to Saturday but if you’ve done one before they now do a different walk with alternative tales on a Thursday.

The woman leading the tour was fantastic and told great tales of the ghosts of Lincoln. We want to do it again in the Autumn when the nights are dark as we felt we lost aome of the atmosphere of a ghost story when it was still sunny at 7.30pm. Well priced and an hour well spent

What a wonderful, spooky ghost walk that was.

I had a great tour guide, she told the stories and incidents with such passion that it was really captivating.
The Story about William Clarke and his loyal companion was hearthwarming :-)

The tour was varied and entertaining.
And in addition to ghosts, you also learned a lot about the history of the city

Engaging guide, dealt well with hecklers passing by. Nice little tour around the castle and cathedral quarter with related ghost stories. I think in the summer it should start later in the evening so that it's darker. Ghost stories aren't as spooky in the light. I recommend this as an activity if you're staying in Lincoln for a few days.

We went on the tour over Halloween weekend. The tour guide was engaging and entertaining and she told the stories so well. The meeting location is easy to find outside the tourist information centre; do note that that only take cash payment. A bit of walking around the cathedral quarter which lasted around 1 hour 15 minutes and was atmospheric with the street lighting. We had parked at one of the carparks in Westgate, which is close to where the tour ends, so very handy. Would highly recommend.

Really enjoyed this tour around various sights in Lincoln, tales of ghostly sightings and historical points of interest in abundance. A very knowledgeable guide (apologies I didn't catch her name) and she dealt with Covid very well re distancing and track / trace. A good mix of tales, some very old and some more recently but all brought to life in a great way. I'd definitely do this again and would recommend it to anyone. Especially good as the nights are drawing in, these things always seem better in the dark don't they?! A very good 75 minutes walking around Lincoln, don't miss it.
