I've recently become a regular visitor. There are great walks both long and short, plenty of bird life to view. The paths are flat and ok for wheelchair users and also push chair friendly . It gets busy at weekends, but is reasonably quiet during the week and after your walk you can get a coffee etc in the restaurant.... More

Whisby is a favourite of ours as a family and a couple. The walks are well signposted and of varying lengths so are suitable for all the family. The play areas for children are excellent as they cater for all ages. The shop is well stocked and the cafe offers a good choice of food and drinks

Whisby is a bargain for just £2 parking. There is a huge variety of walks lots a wildlife. There is a water side cafe which serves adequate food and a shop. It is great for a few hours escapism

We'd walked from The Millennium Park in Hykeham to Whisby and called in the Boardwalk Cafe for a coffee. It has changed a bit since our last visit and I was very surprised to see (and hear) that a children's indoor play area had arrived behind the small shop area. It was very noisy indeed and not a pleasant experience... More

We went for a few hours to meet friends with their boxer dogs.We had a lovely few hours there just walking the dogs and then afterwards we went to the cafe where the prices are very reasonable. There is a lovely shop selling all sorts of goodies and a small play area for children. We will definitely be going again.

We travelled 50 miles to come to this venue. If all you want at this time of year is walking on well laid paths, peace and quiet and the sight of deep lakes then this is the place for you. If you want to spot many waterfowl species, not so good. We saw gulls, 1 cormorant, a pair of grebe... More
