Our son chose this venue for his 9th birthday party. From the start the staff were welcoming, helpful and accommodating. The games were very well organised and I would like to mention Martin who made the games so much fun for all the kids. The food was ok, quite adequate for a kids party although I think serving up micro chips as opposed to freshly cooked chips was a little lazy and also freshly made squash as opposed to drinks in small cartons would have been better, however the kids didnt seem too fussed. The seating/waiting area could have been made a little better with more comfortable seating. Having said all this we weren't disappointed and the kids all had a great fun time. We would go again.

Took two cars of 6 and 7 year olds for their first/second time of laser tag.
Aimed for the 10:00 slot and got the whole place to ourselves. They had a thoroughly enjoyable and age appropriate session.
Danni was great with the kids. The arena didn’t feel pokey and was varied.
Will definitely be back. There’s a kids party looming and in addition may well ditch the kids one evening.

We had a few birthday parties at Laserforce and my kids love it there. Everyone is friendly and helpful and it’s nice to just be able to book whilst everything else is being taken care of.

Overall, I am shocked at how unprofessional the place was. The staff were rude and disrespectful from the start and our trip to laserforce was a complete waste of time, fuel, money and effort. When we got there my cousin wanted to go to the toilet but was not allowed. They said he had to take his suit of but by then he had already wet himself due to his weak bladder. He was really upset and stayed in there for about 45mins+. Crying. The manager(Danny) did not go there and apologise even when he came out. She had a disgusting attitude and knew she was in the wrong. I strongly DO NOT RECOMMEND THIS PLACE and if you are planning to go here, i suggest you choose a more professional and qualified place like MEGA ZONE

This review is one of 3 relating to the same incident, so 2 are from people who are responding to what the accompanying adult has told them, which is factually incorrect.
If the staff were rude and disrespectful from the start then why did you stay and play
Each person played 5 games each for £12 as part of the evening continuous session, I consider this to be good value. They could have continued paying but were instructed not to by the accompanying adult.
The teenager did not wet himself whilst taking off the suit, he ran to the toilet and wet himself in the cubical, we know this as we had to clean up the mess.
He was not stopped from going to the toilet, he was asked to take off the suit, which took 9 seconds from when he left the arena before going to the toilet. He could have left the game earlier but decided to come out when suit timed out and then returned to the armoury. This was his 4th game not 1st.
The accompanying adult did not help the situation by acting in a rude and abusive manner to the staff, insisting that the female supervisor get the boy out of the toilet, even suggesting we get the police involved. You need to ask why did the accompanying adult not deal with the situation himself.
The boy locked himself in the cubical until a change of clothing was brought to him, probably because he was too embarrassed to come out in front of his friends until he was changed, which was 30 minutes after he left the arena.
The accompanying adult probably made the situation worse by over reacting, Instead of reassuring the boy that everything was OK and clothes were on they way, he became abusive to the staff and encouraging the other teenagers to join in. This would suggest that he is not suitable to act as a chaperone to children as he is clearly unable to deal with a difficult sensitive situation.
Regarding apologies, The Supervisor was not aware of the situation until after the boy had locked himself in the toilet , Why would the supervisor apologies for him wetting himself, particularly as the only person being rude and abusive was the accompanying adult.
I think people should think about taking responsibility for their own actions before blaming other people. Including 14 year olds.
I am absolutely sure that Megazone and any other laser-tag centre would require the suit to be removed before going to the toilet, as Electrics and liquids do not mix.

The manager danny ought to be locked up for child abuse.. they refused a child who was desperate for the toilet until they took off body armour.. very rude person with a disgusting attitude. Child locked himself in the toilet crying due to there disgusting actions. Refused to give company policy booklet, refused a full refund, very rude in front if children and no apology given.

The facts; as captured on CCTV
A 14 year old boy finished the game and wanted to go to the toilet. He was asked to take the battle suits off and it took 9 seconds to do so, he ran to the toilet where he wet himself, He locked himself in the toilet until his mother came with a change of clothing. The accompanying adult was rude and abusive to the staff , expecting the female supervisor to go into the toilets and sort out a 14y boy, rather than deal with it himself. He even wanted us to call the police to get the boy out of the toilet, which was refused. People reading this review can draw their own conclusion. We do ask the 6 and 7 year old parties if they need the toilet before playing, however we do not expect to do this for 14 year olds.

Had my daughters party here and all the girls really enjoyed it... The venue is up some stairs and has a light and bright reception with some arcade games and table football to entertain you while you wait. As we booked the party in advance, they managed to balance our group with another group who were similar age/ability, which made everyone more comfortable and it seemed fair! The instructions were clear, (Although said a bit fast by the instructor...) of how the game works .... and the girls were sent into a dark room / maze! Reds agains Blues! We had one game and a ten minute break... The score were displayed on a TV screen, that up dated all the time so you could see who was shooting who! The chap who worked there with another assistant were in the maze, checking all was OK and checking everyone in the teams were playing as they should, which I quite liked! At the break the instructor, explained who was winning and who had best hits, most effective scores etc... they were displayed as % and you could scan your card (remember to go with a good code name) after to see you strengths and weaknesses....The break ended and we had a 2nd game.....followed by an iceream. There were two party rooms... (who were used if you had 3 games/food package) however as it was our first 'play' se we decided to just use the tables in the 'reception'. We had about 15 in our group....The place did not seem over crowded, but got a bit excitable in between games with lots of youngsters!
We took our own cake but did not pay extra for party food... I think it was about £11.00 for 2 games per child and we were there just under 2hrs) Take plenty of 50p's for the games while you wait, some classics. You can get a coffee /snacks from reception.... A smooth operation all round, great fun - Many thanks to all.
I can recommend this with advanced booking for a party, the kids will love it!

My sons 11th bIrthday, we choose the 2 game drink and ice cream option, as some fussy eaters, so decided not to have food.
Great venue, super helpful staff, very clean.
All the boys loved the laser force games and the staff were very enthusiastic.
Would have been nice to have a decent coffee machine or better cafe facilities, for parents sat waiting for the kids. Missing a marketing opportunity here.
Will go back, good value for money, great staff and easy parking.

Have been going here for nearly two years now. Started when my child went with a group for a party. Hanging around for four hours whilst they came in and out with beaming smiles made me think why am I stood hear and not getting in there. Next holiday session I went in and haven't looked back. I love it! Especially good value during school holidays as you can get 4 hours of play, which is a minimum of 8 games, for £15 or slightly less if your a member. The games are varied based on numbers and ages of those playing. They've started doing evening sessions during the holidays too but haven't been to one of them yet. They also have Tuesday and Sunday night game sessions but can't often get to these due to having a child and work commitments but when I've been always come away with a smile. Thanks for giving us something we can both do and enjoy despite out age difference. Yes there are other options but for the money you'd be hard pressed to get the same value.
