One of the nicest parks I've seen. Boats on the lake. The river, games and sports facilities super cafe. Beautifully preserved Abbey ruins. Always filled with families of all nationalities and religions showing multi cultural Leicester at it's tolerant best.

Just one mile north from the centre. Large park with something for everyone. Very well kept park with boating lake and cafe across the bridge with ruins. Definitely worth the visit

There is parking inside the park. There are both free and park and pay I believe. The one closest to the ruins and by the pet corner is free. It is also very popular so you need to get there early in the day. We usually park... More
