Visited today with my family, shame as I have just read a review from 2018
Aug 2021 • Family
Was not informed of the backlog of people wanting to start before I paid. No seats around the course for people when wanting.

Mixed experiences
Jul 2020 • Family
I have had mixed experiences with this Golf Course. I've visited this place many times over the years, as it is my local course, and have had lots of fun here, but have also had times where I had had to give halfway through the course. It's pretty good, and has good decor and a good theme, just because it's so popular, sometimes on hot days the queues are wild!

Jul 2019 • Family
Played here a few times with our teenagers when the sun was out.
Really great crazy golf course. Good value too.
Nice selection of snacks if you get thirsty or peckish in between.

Crazy golf fun
Jul 2019 • Family
Adventure golf was awesome but expensive. On each corse there is 18 holes and then a bonus 19th. It had free cake and lots of different coulerd balls. But my 5 year old son got scared on some of the holes. The loos are clean but have weird music whilst I was using the loo. Great experience!!

Very good time here with friends, been here a handful of times but only once since the new refurb. The course looks so much better and can see why it’s always busy

Golf and cafe separate management watch out for miserable staff
Apr 2019 • Family
I often drop in here with the family for a quick hours pitch and putt golf. It’s ok for a bit of fun and whilst the greens could do with a bit more tlc we all tend to enjoy it. We often grab a few bottles of drink from the bar afterwards and my teenage sons have a couple of games of pool. On our recent visit we left our sons playing pool and went to sit on the balcony area above the crazy golf. This is when we met the ‘crazy’ miserable one, halfway up the stairs we were confronted by a lady ‘presumably chewing a wasp’ who enquired as to how she could help us. I asked if the balcony was open to which she replied yes if you purchase something from the cafe. I mentioned that we had just purchased drinks which we were clearly holding. It would appear that the bar area is not part of the same company, not sure if that is the same as the toilets which are in the cafe. Either way we weren’t staying where not welcome so just went and sat outside whilst our sons finished their game. I don’t appreciate being made to feel uncomfortable in an establishment that doesn’t make its rules clear and your staff in the pool, golf area should be aware that patrons could well wander between both facilities thinking they were the same. It is only through good manners and and behaviour that I wasn’t as rude to the cafe staff member as she was to us.

Great course - not managed well
Apr 2019 • Family
They have updated the course again and it looks fantastic and is great fun. However out of our 6 visits 3 have been quite bad due to how busy it is and this recent one was absolutely terrible. I understand sunny weekends will be busy and especially a bank holiday however that’s not what we have an issue with. We wouldn’t mind having to wait even an hour as long as we knew it was that busy and could wait inside or comfortably. Instead it was a packed , Hot day and they allowed way too many people on the crazy golf course in one go. We paid £15 for 2 adults and a young child. You go into the course through a turnstile and then can’t exit it without having to get attention of staff to unlock the gate ?? Ridiculous. Then you’re waiting in a long queue to start and queuing around the course on each hole for several families to have their go and just stood in the hot sun. Ourselves and 5 others from different families had to leave half way and not get to Finnish the course just in the time we were there (awkwardly having to go back through other players on previous holes) . You’ve got everyone standing around also in the sun. Instead they should only allow so many people on the course in one go then give a time gap between allowing the next lot on. People needed to go toilet, kids getting too hot etc. It took us 1 hour 20 mins to only get 5 holes. ( not value as you rush through the hole feeling bad for everyone waiting and then spend ages waiting for the next ) We really wouldn’t have minded if we got there and they said you’ll have to wait so and so time until the next lot of people can start. Then we could’ve waited inside or sat down ( perfect use of the cafe and the games inside) Instead it just makes the business seem too money grabbing. Wasted £15 for one child getting sick in the heat and waiting over an hour for a few holes. Such a shame for such a well built course. Don’t think we’ll risk coming again until there’s a way of controlling the waiting on the course properly.

Cheap and cheerful, but a little tatty and unloved
Dec 2018 • Friends
Greeted by a lovely man on reception when arrived however; went a little downhill from there onwards. The course has seen better days, looking a little sorry for itself. It's really only 17 hole, as 1 hole is shut. Lots of 'Please be patient whilst we upgrade' signs dotted around. Some of the courses had no bricks on the side, so ball could just roll off into the water or grass edges. Just a little unloved and tatty. However, cheap and cheerful afternoon of fun for kids. Personally, I wouldn't return.
