Relive the past

It never ceases to amaze me as to how much they can fit into such a small area. Great ' live' action as well as great settings in the woods. This annual event is a real must.

So, as a re-enactor, this remains the must attend event for the year. Partly because of the air show and the excellent displays but also because it seems to attract a genuinely interested public as well: Much more than many other events. Some of the observations this year though, that you get to hear by chatting to people throughtout the... More

As usual a great day out, only let down by the parking but still well worth a visit. See you next year..

We went for the first time in 2015 and initially were a bit hesitant about the entrance price as it was higher than we normally would spend for these type of events. However every penny of that was worth it. The atmosphere was incredible. The variety of displays both static and aerial were fantastic. We got there about 9.30 and... More

Me and my friend came to see the show all the way from Slovenia. It was worth every pence. WWII era music, hospitals, chapels, armored vehicles, fighter planes... one time the p-51 mustang flown by so low that i thought i was in the movie. Truly a day to remember forever. You can't have enough of the air show, it's... More

Went to see Vulcan for last time, unfortunately that was cancelled, however the show didn't disappoint. The attention to detail is amazing, they have everything, all kind of equipment from vehicles, hospitals, food/kitchen, everything. Definitely will come back next year. And the best was the battles re-enactment - not only the big one that everybody waits for but the one... More

Like many others I'd never been to this event before and was going primarily for the Vulcan. Was disappointed when she couldn't display but had a great day nevertheless. Plenty to see and do and good food, reasonably priced. I note one review which calls this "the worst air display ever". I'd take issue with this. Firstly it's not just... More

Visited the victory show on Sunday 6th September with three family generations. Not sure what to expect as new to this venue. Went mostly to see and photograph the Vulcan bomber which sadly didn't fly. However that did not spoil our day. The venue is spread across several fields. Very well organized with plenty of parking. Toilets were portaloo type... More
