Blackpool has a long very clean beach which goes on for miles. There is the central area which gets the busiest, the beaches towards Lythm St Anne’s and towards Cleavley are much quieter, there are no facilities at these beaches. It can be a beautiful walk along the promenade which is constantly being upgraded, it can be quite bracing but it is good for clearing out the cobwebs and you certainly get a good nights sleep afterwards A lovely sandy beach, perfect for sandcastle making and paddling, used to swim in the sea as a child but I wouldn’t do it now, never liked the sea after watching Jaws …

Miles and miles of flat easy walking. Lots of cafes to stop for a coffee our lunch all along the route. And you can jump onto a tram if the weather gets bad.

What a great beach Blackpool has, it’s massive and very clean, I haven’t been in the summer but I bet it’s lovely, when the tides out it’s goes out quite far, great view too.
