Nice place for the kids to run about & cafe for everyone to get a drink/snack.

Being a local we call in for coffee/cake when passing. Occasionaly we meet people in there. Kids can run about on the grass, there's a good choice of snacks for them. It's on the... read more

An excellent playground and picnic area add to this. Solaris is on the Promenade, right across from the beach. The menu is basic but good and good value. This is a... More

Went into centre when the heavens opened and drenched us this summer. The staff were very sympathetic and were very helpful when we asked questions about the exhibits. The adjoining cafe is wonderful and very inexpensive also.

Ideal if your walking the dog. If you want a light bite & a brew. We opted for sausage & one slice of mushroom on bread. (No barmcakes on a Sunday) Also tuna melt. A tea & coffee. Not bad value. Shame the customer service wasn't up to the correct standard. The girls wanted to sit on their I pad... More

Being a local we call in for coffee/cake when passing. Occasionaly we meet people in there. Kids can run about on the grass, there's a good choice of snacks for them. It's on the South Promenade & the sea is just across the road. Pleasure Beach is further down heading north. Sand dunes/beach/new tram shed just a bit further up... More

This is just across the road from South Prom. The coffee is excellent and other people seemed pleased with the food. The staff were very friendly and everywhere was very clean and tidy, despite it being a very busy Air Show Sunday. At weekends you have to walk around the building, front entrance is locked.
