We love going to Stanley Park. My grandparents used to take my mum when she was little and she carried on the tradition of taking me and my little sister when we are visiting Stanley Park. I am now 19 and my sister is 8 and we love it. It is so nice in the summer weather as there is ice cream at the end! We also always do the “Treasure Trail/Scavenger Hunt” every year.

It’s great to see how well it has been kept over the years and how there are different moving parts to the villages such as trains and interactive activities.

There is also a lovely wishing well in the middle with a lovely sitting area. It’s great to have a spot to rest especially with young children and every year we make a wish at the well.

Overall, it’s a great day out however, make sure to visit on a sunny day if you can as it is all outdoors.

A QUIETER DAY OUT
Aug 2021
We'd been meaning to visit here for years and never found the time due to all Blackpool's other attractions, but we finally did this on the way home(can also be done as part of a day out at the zoo), and we're so glad we did, a lovely little place that actually is bigger than we anticipated, they provide a handy map of clues to navigate your way round and count those gnomes along the way

Overpriced - but enjoyable
Oct 2021
We really enjoyed having a walk round here. However, I would agree with the other reviews, that it is overpriced. Toilets were out of order and were not much longer that 30-40 minutes in total. We did have an ice cream and a hot drink, there were not options of any sandwiches or anything like that. The quiz was nice and kept my little one entertained when going around. You also have to pay for parking.

we are 2 adults a little older and we loved it, would love to go again and we are going to repeat some of it in our own garden so much to see and we also did the route quiz as we walked around. it is one of the best thigs I have seen and i have seen lots of model villages but this is by far the best.

In desperate need for TLC - save your pennies
Oct 2021 • Friends
I’m sorry to write, but this place was a complete disappointment.. I know it’s a tough time for attractions, but this place really needs a level of investment to turn the place around. Over 40 quid for a family of four along with two friends to see a handful of models that look tired and in desperate need of TLC doesn’t provide the best value for money. The place could be so much more, that’s the disheartening part. Parking is an additional cost, and the toilets were ‘out of order’ when we visited - not good when you have small children. My advice would be to save your money and avoid.

Fun experience

I thought this was a sweet and quirky attraction. We thoroughly enjoyed following the quiz/map that you led you round. It certainly made me nostalgic as it makes you feel the magic of being a child again.
Some parts of the village could do with a touch up and some small repairs. However, overall it was a really enjoyable experience.

Don't waste your time or money

Wish we had read all of the negative reviews before we decided to visit the model village as we would have saved 20 pounds and not wasted 30 mins on this run down verging on decrepit model village. It's in a shocking state of disrepair and is absolutely not worth a visit. Agree with all the previous reviews, don't waste your time or money!

Disappointing and overpriced
Sep 2021
Unfortunately everything is dated and in need of repair/touch up. The quiz/map was useful for guiding you around.
But the price!! Having checked online it quoted £7.50 but on arrival the price was £8.95 for an adult, and the website states that "prices are a guide only and may change on a daily basis". Charging what you want whenever you fancy is outrageous. Having walked nearly an hour to get there I decided to go in, but I don't recommend a visit.

Dated and left to rot mostly. Expensive for what little there is.

If it was maintained even with a bit of love it would be improved. Seems like a money gimmick for what is there. Very lackluster and disappointing. Only 2 decent models.

Creator seems to like gnomes which kinda spoilt it. Can move the trains around the track with a switch. Models of the humans are poor, same with the train. Should be signed with more arrows or blocked to a one way route although we did receive a map.

Water in the ponds were filled with slimy algae. Felt sorry for the duck swimming in it.

Overpriced, dated attraction.
Sep 2021 • Friends
Oh dear this poor dated attraction really needs some updating! All of the models look like they’re from the 1950’s! The best part of the attraction we’re the flower displays in plant tubs.
The worst part was the astronomical entrance fee - £8.95 for an adult!
Oh and insult to injury? If you want to use the toilet you are instructed to take a bucket of water to flush it with as there is no running water currently!! Very unhygienic indeed.
