We arrived on Friday 25th September 2020! We returned to this venue after arriving back after we visited last time when the lockdown ended, they were very accommodating after everything that happened, even sorted us free shots although they provide over priced drinks!!! We came back and waited 25 minutes to get back into the establishment, fairplay they were doing the right things, which is is respectable but they told us we could order either on the app on when the barmaid came to the table! We ordered on the app and it took a hour and a half to come to us, even though the staff seemed like they didn’t have a lot to do! I aren’t one to complain but it definately took the piss how long it took, and when we asked the staff they offered us whatever we wanted! They offered 2 jaeger bombs but we asked for 4 for how long it was! We spent £28 on a pint of John smiths, a single vanilla vodka and coke and 4 jaeger bombs with 2 free ones( which they said would be 4) I’ve worked in the Hospitality trade for 8 years and understand the situation but this has made me lose faith in the business and the whole situation. I will not be returning to the pub we rated so highly.

A nice public house with safety restrictions in place......the drinks were as they should be but the prises were higher than usual -why was that. I will let you decide, if that is so.

Takes an age to get served from the miserable staff last night but not if they know you and it was near empty not be going back seem to favour the few drunk locals than tourists so will visit the loads of other boozers available tonight instead and spend my hard earned cash

visited during a weekend in january and ordered drinks ,overheard barstaff talking saying they had been told to charge visitors and holidaymakers a higher price than locals.Given the levels of competition in blackpool this is an outrageous practice. We insisted being charged the locals price which the barperson happily did. There are numerous pubs cheaper than this in the area such as the ardwick where pints are less than £2

Hi Graham Thank you for your feedback, we do not have different prices for visitors and locals. What we do have though is a Loyalty Card that is used by people who regularly visit the pub. Those with a Loyalty Card get a discount on selected drinks.
