The whole length of the promenade is packed full with things to do, from Blackpool Pleasure Beach and South Pier at one end up to the Sea Life Centre and Blackpool Tower and North Pier at the other. We were on holiday for a full 7 days and found plenty to keep us occupied in Blackpool. The promenade itself is kept clean and tidy for visitors and makes for a pleasant walk, especially in the evenings so one can take in the sights of the illuminations along it in September. There are light and sound displays outside Blackpool Tower at night and these are particularly impressive. The Comedy Carpet is good to pause and read on a walk along the promenade too. All in all we had a great holiday at this seaside resort and would highly recommend Blackpool and its attractions, including its promenade.

As the song says "I do like to stroll along the prom, prom, prom" sadly when I visited there were no brass bands playing.
That said the Central promenade is a must visit location in Blackpool. Stretching from the North Pier to the Central Pier there are lots off things to enjoy. You can check out the hilarious Comedy Carpet which is right outside the Tower, there are places to sit, the beach is right next to you and you can enjoy the views of the sea and across Morecombe Bay.
Unfortunately I visited when Covid was still about and there was not much social distancing going on.

We were staying in the area and had a walk along here which is a good walk to do the whole length. There was some entertainment happening just over from the tower with music which there were a lot of kids dancing to and a light show on the tower building. The promenade was busy with people both during the day and also at night.
It wasn't over the clean with a lot of litter everywhere both on the beach, in the sea and all over the pavement and road. There was dog poo in different places which some people had walked through at some point. Every few steps you would be hit with a very strong smell of weed as everyone seemed to be smoking it around the town and along here. It felt reasonable safe at night to walk, it could be better lit though as some parts were quite dark

Using the tram,we got off here as we were meeting up with friends, the central area is always a busy part of Blackpool.
Always something going on & with it being the Illustrations, you now had a light show, illustrated statues, walk through light, great for young & old.
Nice place in the summer as well, with the comedy carpet & whatever other entertainment is laid on.

We were staying nearby so popped into Blackpool. The kids loved going on the rides which aren’t badly priced for how long you were on each ride. The tickets were easy to use and as I say not too badly priced. It was very very busy but we had a great time. It is all accessible although the rides were not.

Central Promenade Blackpool is a tourist and coastal zone located in the middle of England. If you walk following the promenade, you can see the beach, some fairground rides, illuminations at night and especially the Blackpool Tower, which is the most known building in the city and it was inspired by the Eiffel Tower (but much smaller). I came here in winter at night, so almost all shops were closed and the promenade was empty of people. Curious, seeing a summer tourist zone in winter.

The Promenade has always been good and I have walked up and down it many times over the years. Credit to Blackpool Council, who have spent heavily to renew and reinforce the whole of it, in recent times, to keep at bay the ravages of the Irish sea. Aside from the Piers, which have always been a feature of the town, the central promenade now has many features to keep the crowds entertained. It is of course, the best way to see the illuminations and to take them all in, if you still have the energy, after a hard day's fun seeking. It is wide and flat, so is ideal for prams and wheelchairs and not to forget the plethora of dog walkers. It is literally a stone's throw, from most of the sea front hotels and guest houses and the majority of the major attractions.

Blackpool has went to hell
Blackpool use to be this lively place, it use to scream FUN. with all the little shops that you could look for a bargain and find one and the amusements and funfair use to be packed and taken the iconic tram up to towns crowning glory of course the pleasure beach. it had soul now it's an utter sh?thole gone have most of the shops amusement and funfair are faded copies of themselves and the pleasure Beach now a ghost park in July that was never heard of . The once little vegas of the north Now it's discussing empty shell. It's sad that the Blackpool of most of our childhood's have gone. Once filled with fun for All family it's gone and now filled with homeless and drugs abuse. I would recommend that you avoid the town like the plague not even worth a day trip pitifully.

This was a grey, cold & blustery day./ Few people were braving the outdoors and, apart from a tram or two, little was moving on the Promenade that day. It had an 'Out of Season' feel.
To be fair, the whole place was clean and well maintained.

Loved if, looks great especially in the night time with the lights.
In the Day-Time it is much more quieter than the Night-Time, Which I am not too bothered about because in the night time it can get a bit: Hectic, Dirty and a feeling of unsafe.
Nice shops for gifts are around the area too, not bad for prices either
