This was the main reason for our visit. We had a private dance lesson and then a dance in the ballroom which was amazing! It is beautiful inside and even if you can't dance it's worth a visit just to have a cup of tea...More

In order to ensure that they have a full house, just like airlines, the BBC oversells tickets. Thus possession of a ticket does not guarantee entrance and it's 'first come, first served'.

Hi, I'm sorry, but I don't know. We paid for the afternoon tea but didn't enquire about just going in to sit in the balcony.
