Love the tower ballroom. But whoever is running this place now are just ripping visitors off. If you have a family this used to be the place to go. Not anymore. Greed now rules. Pity. It's cheaper going abroad than coming here.

My partner booked us in for a surprise afternoon tea here, the food was lovely and the service was excellent. It was nice to sit back and watch couple dance the afternoon away.

Visited here last week to see the ballroom. It was amazing. The architecture was stunning. My mam and I enjoyed spending some time watching the different couples take to the floor dancing to a number of different dances. An experience not to be missed. I would recommend the balcony view for £2.95. You can see everything from up there.

We went for afternoon tea and to try dancing: we have had three months of weekly/fortnightly classes in ballroom dancing. Whilst the afternoon tea was not the best we had (we improved it by having some champagne) the dancing was great and the atmosphere was wonderful.

Spent a lovely Saturday afternoon here. Very good value as it opens at 11.00 so time for plenty of dancing before our tea at 2pm. Great fun watching the other dancers - especially the sequence dancing. Had a great day, would definitely go again
