We love it... so much so we bought Sunday membership and a parking pass, we go regularly rain or shine. The zoo is just the right size for a toddler to run round, and at £4 for face painting I'm often taking home a purple tiger. The orange monkeys (orangutans) are a favourite and it's great to get such good... More

Enjoyed this emensly .lots going on for familys to enjoy. Improved this zoo lots since we were last there in the 1980s. Were most impressed but please do something about those pesky sea gulls in eating areas. I no it will be a task but really is not hygenic

I absolute live zoos and animal parks and can safely say this is one of my favourite. The vast range of animals is great and you can easily spend hours on hours here. Entrance fee isn't too bad especially if you book online. Definitely worth a visit! I recommend bringing a picnic with you as the food is very pricey... More

We didn't realise that the zoo was so big. We spent most of the day there. Loads of shows on to see the animals feeding. Petting area for the kids. And café not overpriced either.

Took the Grandson who has been before and he loves it,booked online and saved a few pounds, the grounds are well laid out so you don't have to walk miles to see the animals ,the stars are the Gorillas and the Sea lions, just one word of warning beware of the vicious Seagulls when you have a picnic
