The Tower is iconic so just to go there would be an eye opener.
The problem is the price. So expensive even if you buy a cover all ticket. Talking £50+ pound each. That for a family of 4 is £200+
Individually with about 6 options to see ranging from around £15 to £27 ish pounds works out very expensive for family of 4.
And afternoon tea around £50 for 2.
I cannot comment on the venues on offer as we deemed it far too expensive to even go in.

Hello,
Thank you for taking the time to review the Blackpool Tower.
I am sorry to hear that you feel our attraction is expensive. There are many ways you can make your day out cheaper, for example by purchasing a Merlin annual pass with which you can take advantage of all our wonderful attractions across the UK. Furthermore, our website offers an extensive pricing structure which provides varied rates for both peak and off-peak periods. Ticket rates vary throughout the year however our off-peak pricing offers a much higher discount or alternatively you may choose to use a discount from one of our partners (including Kellogg’s cereal for example) to be able to make days out cheaper, however, we feel our attraction is excellent value for money.
We hope do hope you will be able to visit us on a future visit
Kind regards,
Kenny Mew

I was in Blackpool with family and was disappointed that the tower was closed. The only thing opened was the ballroom. I was surprised that they are charging an entrance fee to the ballroom and there is also a fee to be in the balcony just to watch the dancers in the ballroom if there is any. The coffee shop was closed and the only thing that was open to the public was the amusement arcade. I believe the tower was also closed at the weekend which I was surprised about. The ballroom was also closed on Saturday as it was hired out for a private function. It was sad to see the tower building like this.

Hello Stephen
Thank you for your review
I am very sorry that you was disappointed with your visit. The Tower Eye is currently closed for maintenance and due to re-open in April, this is stated on our website so that guests are informed before visiting. We currently do have the Ballroom, Circus and Dungeons open on selected days before opening full time once the season in Blackpool starts.
I do hope you will be able to visit us again once all our attractions re-open
Kind Regards
Kenny Mew

Was a quick visit, and the steps were slippery expensive for family of fire for not very long. I remember going as a kid, and there was the soft play ballroom circus. Everything was all included now. You have to pay separately for everything. Steps are very slippery and not much to do at the top. You get the 3d cinema but not great or very long

We visited the Blackpool Tower during our mini holiday with our merlin gold passes. Being gold member pass holders and considering the amount of money we pay for the us of then I was expecting all of the activities with in the tower to be included. On entering I asked the main reception desk how much the Dino gold was as my 6 year old son did not want to go up the tower and I was told this was included with in the pass and to go to the tower shop where they would give us tickets etc. However on going to the shop I was told this was incorrect and that there is additional charges of £3 each which granted is not a lot but when you add this to the pass cost then it is quite expensive. I explained to the store staff what I was advised on the way in at the main entrance but they didn't care one bit. I asked to talk to a manager however after waiting over 10mins being made to look like an idiot with my kids getting bored I gave up. This really spoilt our visit and has made me question renewing our passes which I won't be. I was prepared to pay for the golf whilst waiting however only had cash to which they then told me I could pay with as they now only accept card as per other merlin attractions however this was not advertised nor was I told previously and actually many of the merlin attractions do still accept cash.
The actual tower experience was good and my daughter loved it. Sadly my 6 year old stood below upset and bord because of the issues with Dino golf.

My GF is from St Anne's and she would always bring me some BP rocks. Which was lovely but a tour to the tower after a show at the Winters' Garden is a must.

A really good activity for those not claustrophobic, agoraphobic or acrophobic. It would have given 5:5 but the 4D glasses were not clean and the gift shop was really disappointing. Staff could be less nonchalant, I wanted my pictures as keyrings, before I had finished explaining, the young man had pressed a button and it would obviously be too much hassel to unpress it to reflect my actual choice, so I took my £20 worth of downloadables to London and got my keyrings.
The tower offers impressive views and the glass floor is a nice adrenaline rush.

Don't bother wasting your time, paying to be racially abused. Smug management when trying to complain who refused to take the details of what's happened.

Can anyone advise? What does an entry ticket into Blackpool Tower cover, without the additions of the circus etc. Just an entry into the Tower (not the eye)
Thanks,

You get just that Carlas, an entry to the top of the tower. Thats the basic ticket

Can someone tell me, if I book last slot for Blackpool Tower at 4.30pm, how much time will I have prior to closing? Everywhere states closing time is 4pm, so I'm confused.

How do you book an entry reservation for Dino golf?? I’ve rang no answer and nothing on the website?
Patrycja G
Edinburgh, UK14 contributions
When you go into Blackpool Tower website and choose book, then choose date and select option 'Eye: Online saver' you then have options to select from and I found Dino golf over there. Unfortunately I'm not sure if you can buy it on its own, it states 'Add a session of dino golf'. I hope it helps

Hi when you step out of the lift are you on the glass floor? We have one member or the party who does not like heights but could sit at the bar with a cocktail and watch from a way back or is happy to look through a glass window. Thanks
