Cask And Tap, Blackpool: Tickets, Tours, Address, Cask And Tap Reviews: 5/5

About
Quality real ale micropub in the heart of Blackpools town centre, just round the corner from the Winter Gardens complex (1 minute walk). Serving from 9 hand-pulls for cask ale along with a keg range of premium ciders/lager & IPA's, good selection of Gins/wines etc. Dog friendly, no tvs or gaming machines, just good old fashioned socialising!

Five Star Ales And Staff.

Cask and Tap in Blackpool is one of the best bars for cask and craft ales and was one of three bars and pubs we visited twice on our three day trip to Blackpool.
A superb craft ale bar in a town not renowned for craft ale bars and pubs but that is now changing as there are a few popping up in Blackpool.
The interior to this craft ale bar is fantastic and is reminiscent of the craft ale bars I visit on my trip's around Europe and the UK.
We visited this fantastic cask ale bar twice as the craft and cask ales where superb and the staff in here were first rate.Once we gave our detail's for the track and trace we took our seat as it is table service only and then ordered our ales.
On the two occasions we visited we had a couple of ales from Propect and Vocation breweries and a whisky cask medium cider from Thistly Cross an excellent Scottish brewery. All the ales and ciders we had were excellent and well priced especially for the calibre of ales we had.
Cask and Tap is a must go destination for anyone who has an interest in craft ales and spirits and is a bar I strongly recommend going to.Very easy to locate from Topping street bus stop it's a minutes walk away.
(This is my first review of Cask and Tap).

The old school type pub

My friend introduced me to this new bar one day just prior to tier 3 restrictions coming in. I hadn't been here before.

I quite enjoyed the ambience of this place where the fixtures looked copper like and were delicious beers for low prices, in a spacious settings were social distancing could be implemented, it was peaceful without music and you could have a conversation with other drinkers, without having to shout, a simple old fashioned pub.

Found this on the off chance and what a little gem it is. It had only been open a week so everything was spotlessly clean and brand new. The attention to detail in the fixtures and fittings were fantastic. A breath of fresh air and totally different experience for Blackpool. Lots of different ales on offer. The owner served our drinks on a quiet evening who was a lovely gentleman who chatted with us. Will definitely head back when in Blackpool.
