Decent enough ride's, but not sure why tickets have to be used on the day or day after, as if it was the season, you would return and end up paying for more, but what you find is people giving tickets to other people to use, so they buy less, central pier management should look at this as really people... Enjoyed reliving my childhood with a visit to the pier last week. The amusement arcade at the entrance to the pier was a favourite with the kids, they especially loved the horse racing/ball rolling game. The host just made it a fun experience with the silly jokes and general good chat. Not a bad singer either! My kids asked to... More

Now the family bar at the end has finally had a much needed refurbishment it looks brilliant. The place is clean, entertainment on for the kids and a great atmosphere.

OK let's face it, this is a pier on the seaside so it has all the usual gags and games. It is a wonderfully cheesy throw back which adds to its charms. Well worth a visit and much better than the north pier. The family bar at the end is a fun place for a drink and dance with the... More

Visited with friends, although the children enjoyed the rides the whole pier needs a spruce up!! The toilets were absolutely disgusting to the point where my 4 year old daughter refused to go to the loo as the smell was vile!! Toilet seats hanging off, wee all over the floors.. They need a good clean!! The bar at the end... More

Love going on the pier. Hate it when you pass the men that have games people play. Telling you if you lose you can have this teddy bear. But that never happened. Avoid them if you can . Fast rides and rides for younger kids. Shame the price of rides are not cheaper. Family bar at the end of pier... More

Visited on a Sunday morning with the 3 grandchildren only to be outraged by the side show stall holders who harassed us from start to finish into taking part in there unwinnable games of darts etc, Stall holders were rude and used bad language when i refused to take part, such a shame as the Laughing Donkey bar has had...
