A lot of money has been spent on refurbishment of this pier and is now a good family entertainment centre.

I don't know what i was expecting from the Pier but it seemed very run down to me, the club at the end was great if you wanted somewhere for your children to be able to run around screaming and shouting whilst you sat and ignored them and had a drink but this certainly reduces the pleasure for people who... When staying in Blackpool a visit to central pier is a must... Very traditional; slot machines, games, rides and fun fair! Didn't go to see the show but did take in the sea air and enjoy a beverage at the bar!

Not much happening on the pier compared to the 1990's. Lack of businesses and poor maintenance to the oldest pier which is such a shame

Brilliant atmosphere. Watched the firework display from the pier. Went on Big Wheel with my three year old granddaughter. Played on slot machines, and had a fab creamy hot chocolate.

I love the piers at Blackpool, it's just right that you embrace what Blackpool is famous for, the creeky yet incredibly secure piers are a pleasure to walk down, we walked down the central one just in time for sun set, whilst it was nice and romantic, a long thin panoramic cloud just blocked the last bit! Typical England lol.

Lovely old pier but desperately needs an overhaul. If you have a seat when you stand up your back is covered in old flakes of paint and your behind in rotting bits of wood! Plenty amusements and stalls. Good old fashioned holiday atmosphere strolling along it though.

I love Central Pier, there is no hassle from the store holders and the fair is fun, the bar is better in my opinion and the staff there are so polite. Love it.
