Go on an unforgettable adventure and discover the beauty of Liverpool and the surrounding area in the most unique way...from a private micro plane!
You’ll see stunning views of the city, River Mersey, Albert Docks...and many more sights for you to discover with a local pilot!

Your pilot is key to this adventure. They are sharing the flights' direct cost, not making a profit. They just love to fly and want you to understand their passion for aviation.
So be sure to meet your pilot directly at John Lennon airport.
++Confirm weather conditions with your pilot before++ --> Access a local airfield --> Discuss the flight route together with your pilot --> Pre-flight check --> Up you go, enjoy the view from a whole new perspective!

The flight can depart between 9-17h, depending on the availability of the pilot, aircraft, and weather. Please let us know your flexible hours/days upon booking, and make sure that you've been in touch with us beforehand!

Lots of fresh air across the front with buzzing atmosphere. Pubs cloed to covidvrestrictions so no gangs of pubcrawlers just families and couples. Lots money needs to be spent on piers tho to make them more appealing, paint peeling everywhere. Some buildings even need demolishing. Keep the history but modernise some areas

I love the illuminations. I go every year. I have been twice this year. One was on a Saturday and it took nearly two hours to get through the illuminations, the 2nd was this evening (Monday) and it took just under 30 mins.

Wanted to do something different with the family this year. I always visited blackpool every year when I was younger so decided to go and visit blackpool illuminations especially as my daughter is a photographer so knew this would be something she would be interested in. The illuminations were fantastic and the kids really enjoyed themselves. When the lights come on blackpool comes alive. With so much to do all the family was entertained despite being in tier 3 everywhere had plans in place for the safety of everyone. I am so glad we didn't cancel our break and will look forward to our next trip to blackpool.

We’d suggest starting from the south and travelling north - this way you avoid traffic and have the billboards as a finale when you reach the end. Very nostalgic. Perhaps walk the top end, weather depending.

Having been to Blackpool for many years, I was so disappointed by the lights this year. They looked really sparse and past their sell by dates. I thought 2020 would be a year to try and raise people’s spirts but I was just left thinking that Blackpool is in serious decline. We saw one illuminated tram and that was it. It also took over two hours to drive down the promenade due to temporary traffic lights, roadworks etc which it just seemed crazy to have them on in what should be Blackpool’s peak time. Also terrible to see the number of closed venues, hotels etc due to Covid. So sad to see this having had so many wonderful years at Blackpool - I hope Blackpool comes back post Covid better than ever, but sadly I won’t be returning.
