Totally worth a visit. I returned to Blackpool to see the lights and wowsa they did not fail to disapoint. We walked all the way along both sides of the shore. I am glad to say i have seen this now.

Either walking, on a coach or a traditional tram you can't beat the Blackpool illuminations each year new lights come and it just gets better and better!

A free event. Donations are welcome but not enforced. A real spectacle. Cars can travel both ways but trams are best as they have a clear view of the tableauxs.

Do you mean the Cinderella carriages? They were £45 from one end of the promenade to the other. You can buy a tram ticket for a day and hop n and off as often as you want. I was £14.50 for a 7 day ticket.

Lights are supposed to be around 6 miles long, bit of a walk if it is cold, wet or windy. We went at busy time so to avoid long queue we used tram - £6 each. Leaves from by Pleasure Beach and takes you back there. Would have... More
