A fantastic night out on opening night last night. We are so glad we went. We highly recommend this show and to see live entertainment again was a real treat, we cant figure out how most of the tricks was done, craig has a fantastic stage presence and we really got his humor and appreciated it wasn't cheesey magic. Elizabeth has a aura about her which is mesmerizing. She said they haven't performed since before lockdown but it didnt show. All in all we really enjoyed it, including the music and lights, it all felt very professional which if i am honest i wasnt expecting.

drinks were expensive, staff all friendly if a little stressed but there didnt look many bar staff considering the room was busy and the girl on the ticket desk was lovely, full of personality and just an all round bubbly girl, fit too which my mrs wasnt to happy about her 'smiling at me through her mask' (she smiled through her mask at everyone but if it was just for me tell her to message me :-)

Covid - hand sanitizer when we walked in, face masks worn and everyone was told to wear them if they were not, checked in track and trace, socially distanced tables and table service so they have it as covid safe as possible.

we will be back, good luck this year.

We come to this magic show each year we go to Blackpool but we missed it from 2019 but we loved every minute of it this year as it’s always a fantastic show. Elisabeth was on her own this time as Craig is usually with her but she did an amazing job on her own the tricks where brilliant and my daughter was on stage to take part in the show and she loved the chance to be on stage with a magician. Great time was had by all my family members I would highly recommend this show to all ages. Well done Elizabeth great show

What a show!! Absolutely fantastic we went on the opening night and their first show in over15months due to the pandemic.Great show and very professional we thoroughly enjoyed it as a family and my children both in awe . If your in Blackpool you have to go!! You won’t regret it and for £40 per family of 4 it really is value for money.
The only thing that let it down for us was the ladies toilets were really unpleasant and smelly I know this isn’t down to evolution of magic so please PB sort the toilets out it wasn’t pleasant

This show is overpriced for the content and running time. Elizabeth the talented one of the duo and if truth be told doesn’t need Craig. His input was card tricks and slight of hand which is an magicians bread and butter. Show ran from 7.30 to interval at 8.30 then 8.50 to 9.20 so for the majority of that time to be taken up by card tricks wasn’t great value. Elizabeth captures the audience and interacted with us all. She combined memory tricks with high end magic tricks and finished with a fantastic showstopper. My kids enjoyed it myself and my wife were pretty bored. The way the room is situated and seats on the sides leave minimal viewing so my advise would be get in early and sit at front or edge of the stage. DO NOT buy drinks here it’s extortion beyond belief. A pitcher of lager, 2 bottles of bulmers, a large coke, 2 lemonades and 2 vodka blackcurrant £43!! Card only and seen several arguments where people on holiday only carried cash. Confectionery stand also a complete rip off. £3 for small tin Pringles, giant jelly laces £2 each and £4 for a slush. Evolution of magic set up outside after show for a meet and Greet. Craig ended show with “if you buy a poster Elizabeth may sign it for you” he didn’t even come out to meet anyone. Elizabeth was lovely and was happy to pose for a picture. They sell basic magic tricks to entice the kids my youngest but a cut rope trick
For £5 which broke and frayed within minutes but they did agree to change it. Overall I wouldn’t recommend the overall venue but If want to have a wee bit family fun take the show for what it is... quite basic and not drink then go see this but I fell in Blackpool Better value can be had.

Booked tickets for this show for 23rd July in the expectation that I might see something new & original but I've seen similar magic/illusions all before performed by greater exponents such as Derren Brown many years ago. From that perspective therefore I found the show unimpressive. Elizabeth performed the entire show by herself as Christian was AWOL! For me the show lacked polish & pizzazz but the admission fee was cheap enough, so value for money isn't particularly an issue.

Avoid! Was looking forward to this show having seen Elizabeth Best on BGT. Been to illusion shows before and enjoy them so thought this would be no different. There was nothing out of the ordinary that we haven’t seen on tv shows over the years so nothing that wowed. That was until Elizabeth was ‘sensing’ what people had written down on pieces of paper and managing to get some right. Ok, I couldn’t do that so impressive enough. But then she stopped and said ‘where is Nikki?’. Turns out I was the only Nikki (also hadn’t written anything on a piece of paper). So me she was referring to. I said ‘here’ and she said ‘it’s your first wedding anniversary today’. Again correct. I was shaking a bit by this point and looked to my husband and asked if he had told her any of this and he said no. Nothing wrong at this point. She then went on to say ‘you’ve had a really tough year is that right?’ Me and husband both in tears by this point (we have had friend and family bereavements very suddenly and recently). She said it would get better. We were amazed as was everyone around us.

I spoke to her at the end and asked how she knew and she just looked at me before saying all I can say is it will get better.

I contacted my sister after the show and this is where the anger comes in to play. My sister lives 600 miles from us. We live in Scotland and she lives in Cornwall. We visited Blackpool for a few days over our anniversary. My sister had contacted Elizabeth Best on the morning of the show and asked if she’d be able to do a shout out from her or have us involved for our anniversary. What Elizabeth did NOT do was mention my sister at all (even when I asked her after the show), she used what my sister had told her and used the emotional part as part of her show which was NOT what was discussed between them. I came away in tears, hoping that somehow my loved ones from the other side had sent a message somehow, tugged at the heartstrings and yet she used it to her advantage. I can’t explain how upset this makes me and how angry. My sister was upset that it had upset me and my husband too when she was trying to do a nice and thoughtful thing for us through a difficult time.

The show wasn’t great anyway but this ruined the whole night for us. She’d even had a bit previously in the show saying Houdini had tried to prove people as fakes….how ironic.

Would never return to see her or recommend anyone else does.

I need to be honest here. I attended the show in 2018 and it was great. The combination of Craig & Elisabeth in terms of large scale illusions and small scale was brilliant. This time though I feel I was let down. The show only features Elisabeth at the moment as Craig is unavailable. This is fine as long as the price reflects this. The large scale illusions are not present in this show and it felt quite stripped back from the show I saw previously. I did get a full refund from Blackpool Pleasure beach and that gets the show an extra star. They need to change the website (and possibly the price) to reflect the fact that Craig is not in the show. The advertising checked today clearly states that the show is both Craig & Elisabeth. Hopefully they will change this soon as I expect returning visitors like my self will feel let down and maybe a bit conned.

Thoroughly disappointed by the show we saw. We were sat on the lower balcony which gave us a great view, but it also meant we saw a lot of how the tricks were done. If you were sat on the bottom floor or the upper balcony it would avoid a lot of issues with seeing how the tricks are done. Craig performed particularly basic magic tricks of which he didn't do particularly well as we could see him taking the balls from his pockets, picking up the birds and when he was doing slight of hand tricks on a table we had the exact line of sight from the lower balcony watching his palms move the coins around. We struggled to take to Craig's character as he tried to be enthusiastic but it just felt painful and cringey. Astonished by the horrific and inappropriate language he used whilst there was very young kids in the audience of which he spoke to so knew we're there. At one point in the show there was even someone dressed as a middle finger! This would all be ok if there was a minimum age for the show or warning of bad language but there was not. Elizabeth had a very different character, was much more serious and better to watch. Most of Elizabeths tricks were done well but again it was very obvious and all tricks we've all seen done before. We left the show feeling a bit ripped off and reminded why we've never seen a live magic show before.

Had a fantastic night with my family! The only thing that I’d personally say is I honestly hand on heart think Elizabeth should go solo! The man with the cards is nothing special we constantly seen strings attached to items he had if I was able to upload videos you’d see them for yourself. Elizabeth is absolutely fantastic she has such a mystery about her and her stage presence is fantastic as a professional dancer in a massive club (she actually picked up on this after the show while getting a photo) I know only too well your stage presence and audience interaction is key! I’m afraid the man I never felt that once! His jacket changes were extremely obvious to what they were used for! Elizabeth however had fantastic stage presence and great energy as well as entertaining the full room. Elizabeth really is the star of that show and at the interval many were saying the same! Elizabeth if you do read this please go solo your skilled enough to do so! I’d come back only because of Elizabeth the man constantly done card tricks them a few coin tricks then a light saver trick which you can clearly see how it’s done and as I said prior strings are extremely visible throughout his full performance! The drinks and food were good value and we got a family photo too which was only £10 so overall I’d come back but I honestly think Elizabeth’s talent is worth ALOT more and many more agree! Elizabeth definitely should do her own show she would be absolutely fantastic to watch!

I'm not going to crucify the show, it wasn't expensive entertainment but it wasn't mind blowing either.

I'm no magician (although I can make women disappear just by talking to them) but a lot of the tricks and illusions were quite obvious and I hesitate to say it but poorly executed or even lazy at times.

My 10 year old son even commented about how he could see the performer throwing items behind him and a wire during the levitation tricks.

Elizabeth comes across as the more polished and complete half of the act.

We still had a decent evening and a couple of the illusions were clever, but I'd not be inclined to recommend it if you're looking for a truly WOW experience as I believe you may well be disappointed.
