Great little walk. Buy the walk guide from the tourist information. I would recommend you to do the extended walk which makes it into a pleasant circular walk.

Climbing up Orrest Head may be a little exhausting when you get to the top, it's well worth the climb! Go and take your own picture and watch the sunset!

Watch out for slippy bits when it is wet! A great walk, easy to follow and super views, just be careful when it is wet as the rocks are very slippery

It is probably a lot less muddy than when I visited in January but the terrain was quite steep and uneven in places and I wouldn’t take a buggy.

There is parking opposite the entrance to the walk, as far as i am aware it is free street parking. I parked there for most of the day and did not get a ticket, just outside some guest houses.

There are two main ways up to Orrest Head. One is paved for all but the very top, the other is across fields & through woods and can be a bit muddy in places if the weather has been wet recently, so sufficient footwear is... More
