The weather wasn't brilliant - but we didn't know what to do, after some research we found this place! It was 100% worth it. The views were out of this world and would definitely be back. It's not too hard for people who don't have...More

Lovely walk from windermere to Orrest Head, well signposted, you can't go wrong. Paths are fab, steps a little slippy near the top but only because it was a damp day. Well worth a look up if your anywhere near.

Nice easy stroll with good paths and a fantastic view. Paths are well maintained. This was our first walk up here and it was busy. However, this may have just been due to New Year popularity.

Nice walk with good walking surface. Last section is a little rockier but the view is well worth it.

It is probably a lot less muddy than when I visited in January but the terrain was quite steep and uneven in places and I wouldn’t take a buggy.

There is parking opposite the entrance to the walk, as far as i am aware it is free street parking. I parked there for most of the day and did not get a ticket, just outside some guest houses.
