Spent a lovely morning here with the kids. They painted sharks, dragons and princesses. Then we got their handprints put on tiles for our new house. These were posted to Ireland for us as we were leaving that day and they needed to go in the oven.

Our daughter had already been with her Grand-parents and had repeatedly asked to go with us. I am so glad we did. We visited for her 12th birthday and got so involved with Decopatch that 2 1/2 hours dripped away! The two ladies were welcoming, offered exactly the right amount of help, and generally engendered a lovely atmosphere. There's plenty... More

Visited Crafty Monkeys in March to make pots and paint ceramics. The studio is a great idea and the staff are friendly enough but the place is lacking direction. Having booked to make a pot on the wheel, the question 'Do you know what you're doing?' was answered with 'No'. No instructions were forthcoming, so we guessed. Having had no... More

I was surprised to receive this review as full guidance is always offered; then we remembered you. When offered guidance you stated that you had studied pottery at college for over a year and didn't require any. You dismissed our potter and subsequently just started helping yourself to more clay. You actually intimidated members of staff to the point that... More

We were on holiday for a week in August and luckily had a week of sunshine mostly. But one afternoon we saw the rain coming decided to pop in here for a few hours after reading reviews. We weren't disappointed. We were greeted with a warm welcome. Very friendly and helpful. Gave us a full explanation of the crafts available,... More

Plenty of choice of crafts made for a fun couple of hours with our children aged 10, 7 and 2. Service was helpful and friendly and just let us get on with our own thing but were happy to help if asked.

Good relaxed spot, toys for the younger ones to play with n safety gate at the door. 4 year old enjoyed it but I found it expensive for what they did in the short time we werr there. Saying that I would recommend and also return as it was something different to do.

We called in here based on reviews we read. What a great place. The 4 adults had just as much fun as the 6 year old! The staff were friendly and helpful and we all came away with something we were proud of. The baby play area was an added bonus. We would definitely recommend Crafty Monkeys!!

Visited here with my daughter and 2 friends aged 11 and what fun they had! I wasn't expecting to be there for 2 hours! It was such a relaxed atmosphere. Mine choose to paint. They were allowed to help themselves to their own paint and glitter. There was numerous potteries to choose from ranging in different sizes and prices. They... More
