Parked at Mayburgh Henge and walked pass the Monument on the way to King Arthurs Table. As a reviewer says, it's a stone. The community involvement to erect the stone is possibly more interesting than the stone.

Erected to mark the millennium on the outskirts of Penrith at Eamont Bridge this large edifice is worth a quick visit. It should still be there in a few hundred years.

Not sure what the point of this is! a large carved stone, and that is it. But if you are going to the henges, this is en route.

Thought we had missed it, and drove to the end of the lane where there is a caravan park. Came back, and it seemed to be just a big rock stuck in the grass verge. Or did we miss it???
