I walked up from Sadgill via Great Howe. Quite boggy in places on the top and very remote. Saw no one until I reached Gatesgarth Pass which had lots of mountain bikers and land rovers.

Accessible from Sadgill and Longsleddale, the A6 from Kendal, remote, wild and a great walk. Reasonable navigation skills needed
