Being ceramics collectors, Price Walker Antiques was on the top of our list when we visited Keswick. The wealth of items from The Keswick School of Industrial Arts, Whitefriars glass to ceramics from various periods makes this a perfect place to visit for anyone who just wants to buy beautiful antiques for decoration or for a serious collector who is looking to stock up on their collection. The price is what you would expect for beautiful pieces of art but definitely better than overpriced London. Brian is extremely, knowledgeable, helpful and experienced in this field of antiques; what I would call an expert. We happily chatted away while comparing pictures of our ceramic collection. We not only left with several items but also a wealth of information. No doubt, we will be returning in the future for more chats and hopefully more beautiful items. Thanks Brian.

From April 1894 until 1984' Keswick School of Industrial Arts was a centre for training local craftsmen, producing high quality articles in copper, brass, silver, and stainless steel.
Many of these items, stamped 'K.S.I.A' make their way to and from Price Walker Antiques.
It took me more than 20 years to discover this gem.
Visitors to Keswick, interested in antiques/history must not miss this

Very helpfull and friendly, bought a Moorcroft vase at my own pace so I wasn't presured into a sale, I was even offered an exchange if the present wasn't liked. Lots of choice to choose from can't remember the individual piece name that I bought (photo).

Popped in on a rainy day in Keswick, was overawed with the vast array of antiques and mid 20th century objects on display, was especially taken by the Whitefriars glass on display in quantities I had never seen in one place before. Ended up purchasing two Whitefriars nailhead vases and also a Whitefriars glass swan, added bonus with my new found knowledge is I found another glass swan locally when I arrived home.

Bought an item without looking as closely as I should have. Later noticed it was damaged, took it back next day, reaction was rude and unhelpful, you should have checked, sold as seen, no returns . I Suggest you avoid this place.

Hi...
We are sorry you have had a bad experience with an antique shop in Keswick but we are positive it was not our shop...
We have not had a request for a refund for well over a decade and we have a zero tolerance of damage or restoration within the shop and do not knowing stock any item thus.We would happily rectify any problem with an item that had slipped through the net which includes black light testing on ceramics...
We can only ask that you come back or get in touch and tell us what you have bought and we can take it from there. We have tried reaching out to you repeatedly via trip advisor contact and you have so far not engaged with us which is disappointing and prevents us from solving any possible issues.
Kind regards
Bri...

Keswick School of Industrial Arts (KSIA) played an important role in the Arts & Crafts movement and taught metalworking skills in the town for 100 years. This dealer has probably the finest selection of the school’s products that you will see anywhere and he is knowledgable too. He has the most complete set of design numbers that I have come across and any aspiring collector would do well to pay a visit. Handwork like this is not cheap however and you will only find top quality pieces here. Also stocks glassware and other antiques. Two minutes from the Moot Hall, in the centre of this historic market town.

Found this shop and well worth a visit
A good range of interesting items to suit all tastes
We bought a good vintage Margaret Tarrant print as we collect them and old large examples are difficult to find

Had the pleasure of visiting northern parts of The Lakes these last 4 years and no visit seems complete until we have dropped in to see Brian at 'Price Walker Collectibles' in Keswick.
Two things come across, firstly his passion for the things he finds and puts in the shop, secondly, the range of items is surprisingly large and thoughtfully arranged by maker. So for ceramics, glassware and metalware, if you are anything like us you'll find it hard to walk out of the shop without buying some things.
We have had the joy of adding to our collection of ceramics and at the same time ignited an interest in fine Italian glassware ..........
I hope you enjoy going as much as we do.

Selection of beautiful, quality ceramics and metalware. Realistic prices considering the quality and condition of the pieces. The major difficulty was choosing what I wanted to purchase. Staff were very patient with a dithering customer and ready with any advice and information about their wares.I will definitely be a repeat customer.
