Every year we come to the lakes, and sometime twice a year, we book a session with John. We have done rock climbing to gorge walking, with Ghyll scrambling juniors firm favourite!
Spot on instruction, good kit, good banter, everything we need for a good day out.
Looking forward to next years trip already!

We make it a family tradition to have a Ghyll Scramble with Mobile Adventures when we come to the Lakes and are guaranteed a fun day out. John is a fabulous instructor, he has an easy manner but safety is paramount. We have repeated some of the Ghylls, but John always makes it different experience for us. A Ghyll Scramble with Mobile Adventures is always full of laughs and a great bonding experience.

We had a days canoeing as part of my stag celebrations. The price was very reasonable, the event was well organised with all equipment provided and the instructor was very professional, knowledgeable and friendly.
The group were all novices but enjoyed a first introduction to canoeing with a few laughs thrown in along the way for good measure.
Definitely recommend!

Massive thanks to Woody for a great morning out adventuring the Stoneycroft Ghyll. Family of four, 10 and 15 year old girls, very well looked after and they felt safe every step of the way. Excellent equipment, never really felt the cold in the wetsuits and he even supplied two for each girl to keep them extra cosy, buoyancy aide and helmet to keep you safe. Always an alternate route if you don't fancy something and a couple of challenges for those more confident to throw yourself into. I think the best way to anecdote the experience is to say that at the very first obstacle/slide my 10yo was bawling, swearing blind she couldn't do it, too scared. With comfort and encouragement from us all and Woody, she watched her mum and sister have a go, sat in the edge, still crying, and delved right in. After that she led the expedition 😂, more confident with each slide, jump and dunk. Thanks again 👍🏻

Spent a great, action-packed afternoon ghyll scrambling with our family and two other groups. Definitely tested how daring we were and had a fantastic sense of achievement at the end. Suited our children (ages 11-16 years) and sparked interest and enthusiasm from them.

I couldn’t recommend these guys enough. We all had such a good time, the instructors were fab, 3 hours on the lake, keeping us all safe but challenging us and making sure we had fun at the same time. 😀 We all made some special memories today together so, thank you very much guys, we can’t wait to book again! 🙌🏽

Amazing experience and so much fun. This is everything the Lake District is about climbing, sliding, jumping - mountain and water. Woody was a great guide, knowledgeable and a safe pair of hands who loves these trips!!

Thoroughly enjoyed Ghyll Scrambling in Stonycroft Gill (Newlands Valley) with Mobile Adventures. Far exceeded my expectations. Our group consisted of both adults and children and everyone loved it - truly an adventure for all ages. The guide was fun, experienced, and helpful. The challenges were exhilarating and the setting was beautiful. One of my friends remarked at the time that it was one of the best things he had ever done, and I would agree with him.

My girlfriend and I had a great time kayaking in Keswick. The session was almost called off due to the horrendous weather but our instructor, John, allowed us to continue for as long as it was safe to do so. John was really friendly and made us feel comfortable straight away. It was our first session and he was really knowledgeable and a great instructor all around. We are looking forward to trying it again and would highly recommend.

Mobile Adventure you are the best!
Our group came back to the Lakes for the 3rd time, searching for more adrenaline adventure and Woody never fails to deliver.
Plunging into the caving system one day and then exploring Esk gorge for crazy jumps and scrambles the next.
Your friendly approach and expertise is second to none.
We can't wait for summer to hit, so we can come back for more!
